  • "The steak was more like a piece of prime rib, not seared on both sides, lukewarm as well as the topping sauce, seafood was cold, potato was like something I'd cook in my microwave at home; wife's prime rib per her was tough, she did like the mashed potatoes. Can't say I would recommend this as a place eat, especially at the price. Don't know what it is, but the food there leaves a lot to be desired at both restaurants"

  • "Food was terrific. Was seated immediately. Decor/ambience good. Too much noise, entertainer right outside of restaurant drowned out music in restaurant. Server was good except after she failed to ask us if we wanted dessert, and because she didn't check with us during the meal about it I was unable to get my favorite peach cobbler because of the 25 minute wait that it would take. However the crème brûlée was excellent!"

  • " My wife and I celebrated our 9th anniversary here and we were very pleased. Both of us had started a diet 10 days earlier so getting out and having some real food just added to the great experience. My wife had the sea bass and I had the prime rib and both were excellent! Prime rib was cooked to perfection and very flavorful and the mashed potatoes were wonderful. My wedge salad was cold and crisp. My wife's sea bass was very good. The only blip with our meal was her side of spinach, way way to salty. Mentioned this to the waitress and a new order was provided and was excellent. We will definitely be going back."

We will be returning there for dinner on August 3 to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary. Jack Binion's has ben added to our short list of restaurants where we will celebrate special occasions."

Steak is always good and is one of the reasons we go to Binion's along with the roasted garlic clove, yum. I wish that there was not a smoking area. We sat in the non smoking but could still smell the smoke. Luckily the smokers left soon after we received our food."

We order our meal and our dessert at the same time. After our meal, we had to ask about our dessert and learned from the waiter that he didn't put in the right dessert order in. So because if this, we had to do without it."

The wait staff made this special occasion (and first time to the restaurant) a great time. And, the food was wonderful. Unfortunately, it is a little pricey to dine there every time we go to "the boat" but we definitely will be back!"

  • "I am a Seven Stars Player at Harrahs. I spend a lot of time at many of their properties. I have been to Horseshoe Southern Indiana a few times. I have dined at other Binions in LA and MS, both are top notch. Binions in S. IN does not measure up as far as the quality of the food. We ordered the 'Chef Recommended' Bone in Ribeye's. Both were ordered medium but as can happen with inexperienced chefs, the meat near the bone came out well underdone and the steaks had to be sent back to be properly cooked. In addition, compared to the 20 oz steaks we have enjoyed at other Binions, these steaks were at least 25% thinner in their cut, thus resembling a more common steak house cut rather than a top of the line as Binions' is promot"

I had mentioned on our reservation that it was our Anniversary. The staff was aware of our special occasion and all congratulated us. The service was excellent. Our severing staff was attentive, but not intrusive. The spacing of the appetizer, salad, entrée made for a great dining experience. Love this place. Awesome Shrimp cocktail and succulent filet."
