  • "The wedge salad looked good with tomatoes and sliced apples. The center core of the wedge was brown! The Dressing was the only thing with any flavor at all. Four of us had 10oz undercooked prime rib. They offered to take it back and place it in the hot su jus to further cook it. Really! The au jus was light in color and had ZERO taste. THe Prime rib was very chewy, tough to cut and tasteless. The mashed potatoes tasted very much like a box mix. The fifth in our group order a filet and it was actually good although over cooked. None of us finished out meal. Customer service is not their strong suit. We politely declined there offer of a free dessert for our poor meal. We hoped that Parker was getting a gem it turned out to be fools gold."

  • "I enjoy simple menu but the menu from J&J is way to simple, no soup and no salad section. I had the stuff mushroom which was no taste and the calamari was awful. The meat was not spectacular but average. I think there is room for improvement but they really need to step up the game to stay in business."

  • "no one in the restaurant at 7 at night....bad sign...........but when another couple did show up they sat them next to us with the whole place open.........baked potatos looked like they sat under a warmer for a long time......had to ask 3 times for bread......Ed the server started cleaning the plates away while we were still eating........the star of the show should have been the prime rib.....nope......was cold and had no flavor and no yummy seasoning crust on top!!!......then they would not give me my own bowl of au jus!!! Ed the server forgot our order and had to come back....even though we were his only table Almost 200 dollars for 4 persons and not one of us would recommend J&Js house of prime rib!!!! Very disappointed!!!"

  • "My wife and I went here for our anniversary. The food was fantastic! She had Prime rib and I had a steak. The steaks were cooked a little more well done than requested, but were still excellent due to good quality meat. Just keep in mind to maybe order slightly less well done than you would normally. The sides were delicious, particularly the kabocha squash! The waiter tended to hover a bit, but I think it was just due to how recently the restaurant opened and ironing out some growing pains. The ambiance is ... obviously a re-branded Chinese restaurant. No biggie though, the food more than made up for it!"

  • "My wife and I tried to go here on Valentine's Day but of course we didn't have a reservation so there was no way we were getting in. So we decided to come back a week later and give it a try. The food was Good, better then if I would have made it at home but not as good as a fine dining restaurant. My wife ordered the Salmon and it was again good but didn't blow her socks off. I ordered the 20+ oz. Prime Rib and it lived up to its name in size! It was cooked perfectly, the only mistake I made was a personal preference in having them pour hot au jus over the top, table side, the hot liquid continued to cook the meat. But overall the experience was a Good one. The one plus it had going for it was the Excellent service!!!!!!! Go give it a try!"

  • "Pros: Friendly service No wait Cons: No liquor license yet Serve Cold bread (my pet peeve) Forgot sweetener with tea, had to ask Forgot horseradish with prime rib, had to ask Bland Aujus is ladeled over the meat instead of on the side King crab legs are served on pre split shell, so goes cold immediately *and with a cheesy pimento sauce all over the top;( Tables are too small to serve sides family style The hip hoppy pop music doesnt match the dinner style The ambience is ok, but not as upscale as youd hope for a $100+ meal"

  • "Just being completely honest in this review. This is not a knock on the restaurant or the chef, but I don't think this is the right kind of restaurant for Parker. The food selection was interesting and we could tell that the chef took a lot of time to come up with and prepare the meals that we got. We, personally, were not impressed with any part of the meal we received for the cost. We don't have anything bad to say about any of it, it just wasn't all that special."

  • "Food was very good and prepared very nicely, I'll say that first. The building was renovated from a previous restaurant that had somewhat of a fast food format and that was still evident. We were at a 2 top and the tables on each side were way too close to ours. We could have shared food off their plates. They don't have their liquor license yet and that was a big disappointment. The waiter was nice but way too talkative and it almost felt like we were having dinner with him too! We will try it again but it will probably be awhile."

  • "If you are going to name a restaurant "House of Prime Rib".....then you should probably serve an above average or better piece of prime rib. Unfortunately, that wasn't happening on Friday night. I was very disappointed in the prime rib (20 oz bone-in). There was just no flavor and the cut was kind of dried out almost as if it had sat too long and all of the juice ran out?? The sides were good (mashed potato, mushrooms, fries) and the Hamachi app was very good. The Snow Crab app should not be on the menu. Our table was tiny, as in my shoulders were wider than the width of the table and one of our side plates actually hung out over the edge of the table. And the tables for 2 are spaced about 18 inches apart. Very uncomfortable:("

  • "The filet was very good, the wedge salad was okay, and the sides were good, especially the grilled asparagus. It's a place with high-end prices but low-end ambience. That may change as they have just opened, and they are still awaiting their liquor license. Server was very attentive, bordering on too attentive, but overall experience was good."

  • "If you are tired of the chain restaurants, J&J is a great new privately owned restaurant here in Parker. It reminds me of the corner steak house in the midwest - modest decor, fantastic food. Even though they are new, we found the place to be in fine working condition. Service is excellent and the food is really good - heads and shoulders above the other steak places in Parker. Prices lean toward the higher end, but we've never left feeling that the food, service and experience wasn't worth it. We've been back several times and will go back again."

  • "We made a reservation for Saturday night. When we sat down, the waiter came over to tell us no liquor license. Appreciated the heads up. The silverware, glasses and plates were all sticky and dirty. Everything is a la carte including salads and sides. The prime rib had good flavor, mashed potatoes and asparagus okay. Wedge salad and French onion soup were forgettable. When I went to the restroom, there was a black tarry substance on the outside of the door and also was not clean. There was duct tape on the door. Just seemed as if there was no pride for cleanliness. I would not go back."

  • "The restaurant just reopened as a "Prime Rib" speciality house. I was in the place when it was an Asian bistro and the new look is little changed - looks like it used to be an iHOP or similar. Very little in the way of warmth or comfort - few decorations and the bench seating which wraps around half of the dining room was not inviting at all. Since they just opened, they also don't have a licquor license, hence no wine with the steak :-( I ordered the signature Prime Rib. It lacked seasoning and was served on a cold plate which, along with the cold air blowing down right on our table, made the steak icy and unappealing within minutes. We won't be going back for a second look..."

  • "We continue to introduce our Parker friends to this great new restaurant. The food is outstanding, the service is the best! Last night we had Ed as our waiter the time before Matt, they both made our meal very memorable. We plan to continue weekly dinners there, each time with a new set of friends."

  • "Very pricey (see menu), food pretty good but cold when it arrived. No liquor license so no wine with steak or cocktail before dinner, though they offered many soft drinks. They apparently are waiting for the license. No tablecloths, no candles, no ambience for food that expensive. The refrigerator case with slabs of raw meat in the entry was off-putting. Staff very nice, our waitress was very good."

  • "We went on the second night so realize restaurant needs more time for a fair review. Food and food choices were very good, but this type of steakhouse needs a full bar. Restaurant needs to soften atmosphere with window treatments, linens(dollies very old school), softer lighting-more of a steakhouse feel versus fast food restaurant remake. We will wait a few weeks and give them another try and wish them success as it is good to have more options in the Parker area."

  • "We made a great discovery when we dropped into J & J's House of Prime Rib. The prime rib was outstanding, as was each and everything we tried on the menu. Matt, our server, was the best and I will ask for him next time I go in. They also have a drive through window for phone order pick-up's. The town of Parker needs to hurry and get them their liquor licence, until then BYO without a corking fee. Hurry and experience this new establishment, you will not be sorry you did!"

  • "This was their first week of operation, so no liquor license yet, and loads of confusion by the wait staff. The food is awesome. Go here for the food. Once you get past the decor and ambiance of a fast food restaurant or perhaps a Denny's (needs serious work), and the wait and kitchen staff being unfamiliar with the restaurant (soon to be fixed) you notice the food is outstanding. The signature salad is a wedge, but far superior to any I have had in the best steak houses of New York, Chicago or San Francisco. The prime rib was very tasty, and well presented with both straight and creamed horseradish along side. Don't expect to share your sides, as the mashed I had was tasty, but small, as are all of their sides."

  • "My son told us that his friend worked at a newly opened Parker restaurant. So glad we tried it! The food was carefully prepared. The prime rib is highly recommended, and the peach cobbler was so amazing! We were repeatedly asked if we were doing ok, and if our food was good. The service was exceptional. I am so glad to have this restaurant 5 minutes away!"
