"While the food and service were great, the noise from the "background" music was so loud my wife and I could not talk at the table. We were also shoved at a table back by the wait staff station.

Don't expect a fine dinning atmosphere here. No table cloths, just place mats and people in shorts and sneakers."

"Honestly, I wouldn't return. This is one of those places where it is all about the fame the chef has, but other than that, I am not impressed. The food is good, but not outstanding, much less at the price. They charged us double for our appetizers, and then the maitre D' told us our desserts had been ordered. We assumed that they would be complementary, because they didn't even asked us what we wanted. To our surprise, they were in our bill. It was a very tasty chocolate sundae with popcorn and a cheesecake(not impressive at all)."

"Very pretty place. great ocean views. We had the very reasonable $19.00 two course lunch. the shrimp salad was great. the veal milanese was dry and tasteless. i was surprised that there were no grill entrees available for lunch. I think salads are the thing to order for lunch. The ones being served around us looked beautiful."

"Ate lunch here with a good size group. Nice table, well located. Room is quite pleasant, view to beach really pretty. Food was quite good. Nice restaurant within a new, attractive hotel right across from the Bal Harbour shops. Location is great."

"A party of four had a great experience for dinner, and I've had an equally good visit at lunch. The menu was varied, with both creative and more simple choices.

The hotel is stunning with beautiful restaurant space, without being formal or stuffy. Both times the staff was courteous and knowledeable about the menu. It was quiet at lunch, and although the room was full for Saturday night dinner, the tables are not on top of each other so noise was not an issue.

The prices were as high as any similar quality restaurant in the area, but it was not a rip-off like many hotel restaurants and as a non-hotel guest our parking was validated for no charge- quite impressive for Miami Beach!"

"This was by far the best dining experience which I had in the Miami area.
Yes, it is expensive, but what you get is outstanding and was way above what we expected."
