Services and ambiance was very good, and food was mostly very good. A little bit on the salty side but overall very nice...4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMLittle Tokyo basement gemDelicious menu with a variety of Japanese dishes--sushi as well as cooked dishes. Decor is not fancy, but stylish with a very comfortable vibe. All the staff were friendly. The bar is well stocked with some interesting Japanese whiskeys (I'll try those next time--I had a Sapphire gin/sake cocktail that was very nice as well as a $5 IPA that was delicious). And on top of all this, 2 hours free parking with validation! [in the building's lot--you pay $5, take a ticket, get the ticket validated by the restaurant, get your $5 back]. Of course, it's a short walk from the Gold Line station so if you're going to hit the cocktails heavy (and the ambiance inspires that!), let MTA do your driving for you.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMHave been a fan of Fu-Ga forHave been a fan of Fu-Ga for a ocuple of years, still love the place. Nilton, and team do an excellent job in creating a good experience.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMLess delectable than someLess delectable than some similar types of spots -- but when the bill comes there is a pleasant surprise, earning them the extra star. Music and decor rather missing the mark. Beer, saki, and Japanese whiskey selection also helps earn that 4th star.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat modern Izakaya tuckedGreat modern Izakaya tucked underground in the heart of Little Tokyo.
