"I have never had Japanease food Im glad I Just happened to pick this spot.The staff was amazing and very friendly.The music selection didnt really seem to fit in with enviroment but its not a big deal at all.I loved this place and will be back next time I'm in L.A."

"I love this place - the staff is always very accommodating. The food is consistent and reliable - we always know what we're getting. The crowd is generally 20-30's, but us older folks (50's-60's) can enjoy this restaurant without feeling like fish out of water, too.

"We really enjoyed our meal here. We were quickly seated, the employees were very friendly (and kept our water refills coming), and the food was so delicious. Highlights of the meal: the pork belly wrapped asparagus, deep fried Brie, assorted mushroom dish with bread, and the apricot blueberry creme brûlée. Will definitely be back."

"Once you get past that creepy garage and heading into the bowels of an office building, you arrive at a terrific, interesting Japanese restaurant, with friendly (but inexperienced) servers. They serve a wide variety of Japanese dishes, tapas style - small plates. The hot dishes are better than the sushi, which isn't bad, but isn't extraordinary. We had superb beef skewers with vegetables, "dynamite mussels" (in a slightly spicy cream sauce), foil baked scallops with mushrooms (not quite as good as other things, but wonderful flavors nonetheless), delicious garlicky asparagus, great miso baked eggplant and a spicy tuna and California roll. Extremely reasonable prices, esp. at Happy Hour. Free parking! Not far from Disney Hall."

"First time eating Japanese food and it was a great experience, loved their valentine's day special it gave us the opportunity to try different plates. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for fine dinning."

"We LOVED this place! The edgy downstairs "New York Chelsea Neighborhood" atmosphere and the food were both GREAT. Their inventive sushi tastes even BETTER with Cool Jazz playing in the background. We cannot wait to return with more friends! GREAT FIND!"
