Ivy Bar & KitchenEarly Saturday night dinnerOur reservation was at 5 pm before going to a movie and we were the first in the restaurant. By the time we left there were several other tables occupied which is a good sign. The service was excellent. The price of food is a little high. Ordered the 2 specials - Swordfish was $24 with a small piece of fish and salad. Also ordered the pasta of the day - garlic cream sauce with chicken, asparagus and tomatoes and it was $26. Food tasted great but the prices could be a little lower for the portion sizes. Had the caprese salad and Caesar salad and both were good.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Brunch at IvyWe were a little hesitant going to Ivy after seeing mixed online reviews, but have absolutely no regrets now that we've gone. Sunday's brunch was an extensive buffet (not the menu posted on their website, mind you), delicious and varied, and we thought quite reasonable compared with other higher-end brunch buffets we have been to. The mussels were excellent and the Banana Bread French Toast was off-the-hook! Service was awesome and there was a very entertaining folky jazz duo as well.

Even though service was a little slow it was still pleasant and the food was very good. The dishes seemed well thought out and the plate presentation were clean and neat. The flavours of the food were well balanced ,I especially like my duck "duo" plate even though I questioned how much foie gras was in my sausage.
The servers were very attentive ,pleasant and energetic. all in all and great experience one I hope to repeat one day5/19/2013 12:00:00 AM
