Ivy at the Glenn is south metro Denver's newest premier restaurant. The concept was developed by Jimmy Lambatos who's legendary career includes founding Footers Restaurant, Footers Catering, and Baur's Ristorante.

  • "First visit to Ivy at the Glenn proved to be a very pleasant one with food that was well-designed and well-prepared. Highlights of our meal included the beet salad, the kale sprouts, and the pecan tart. Server was pleasant and personable. Only significant lack was that the server had little actual knowledge of the bar, wine list, and current food offerings. With respect to the latter, we were informed that the menu had recently changed. That said, we generally expect servers to have been better trained and to have sampled new menu items."

  • "My wife and two friends had a terrific time at the Ivy at the Glenn. Jimmy (Owner) met us as we walked in with a huge smile. The Ivy was full of people that were having a great time. We were promptly seated in front of a fantastic fireplace with a great view of the water fountain outside the oval. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and quick to serve. The food was fresh and perfectly prepared. We enjoyed a perfect night out with friends at a the Ivy and will be back."

  • "I'm so glad we happened upon Ivy at the Glenn. We went for a friend's birthday and had wonderful wine and cocktails along with delicious appetizers (must try the calamari). The menu is not overwhelming and the right blend of gourmet and accessible for those with less adventurous palates. Dessert was bananas foster prepared tableside - perfect for a celebration."

  • "The first thing you notice is the unique décor in this place. They definitely utilized the skills of interior decorating professionals to create the eclectic look and feel. The service was spot on, and the brunch was a fun combination of order your own plus getting special brunch add-ons. The food was certainly above average, and looking at the regular lunch and dinner menus, we can see there are numerous items we'd like to try out which are just not your standard fare. And in warmer weather it looks like the exterior dining (especially at night) could be a lot of fun. We'll be back!"

  • "This was our first time here. We came to try the food because the menu for Restaurant week looked amazing. Everything was wonderful and we will be back. The only issue we had was the first few bottles of wine we picked out the restaurant was out of. The waitress then sent out the bartender with his recommendation which was great. Wonder find thanks to Restaurant week."

  • "The pork kabob appetizer was brought to the table undercooked. Ivy replaced it with another that was on the verge of being overcooked. The waitress was less than attentive and we had to ask for beverage and bread refills, something that should have been done without asking. The salmon was overcooked and the sauce was just put on the rice instead of the meat. I will not go to Ivy again for Restaurant Week!"

  • "Great neighborhood vibe on Friday of Restaurant Week. Ambiance and service were good but a few things left me wanting. Both my wine selections were out, although they made reasonable accommodations for that, and then the entrees for our table were just so-so at best. The crab cakes and fried tomatillos were two standouts on the sides menu. But the experience could have been so much more. Keep trying guys - we want you to succeed!"

  • "The quality of the food was good (not great but not bad either), but the service was probably the slowest I have ever experienced. We were often "twiddling our thumbs" between courses - often 10 to 15 minutes between. We had to ask to have our drinks (water and tea) refilled and to have the dishes removed. This is totally unacceptable. My friend's steak had one side well done and the other medium rare (not sure how they accomplished that). On the upside, The beef wellington apptizers were great as was the clam chower. We had no complains about our apptizers. My lamb chop's flavor was good but thin and a bit fatty. I would blame some of the service on being 5280 week but we were there "before the crowds" it's really not an excuse."

  • "We were a party of 4. The first couple had already arrived and so our name was taken off the reservation list for the night. This caused a little panic at the greeter's stand when we arrived. We were told at first that we did not have a reservation. However, we did eventually find part of our party already seated. My suggestion to the restaurant would be to not take the name off the reservation's list until the entire party is seated. Tables are close together and the noise level was a little above what we would have preferred. Other than that, we enjoyed the night and the food was terrific. A good choice for the restaurant week special."

  • "For some reason there was an unscheduled group of 16 that the manager allowed in without reservations. That put in motion allot of delays for all those that had reservations. I've been ther befroe this and never seen anything like it but if it ever happans again I probably won't coem back. I like the place but its' not worth that kind of treatment"

Three of the four rated their meal excellent (trout, tenderloin), while one found hers lacking (duck), saying it was a bit "rubbery." I will definitely go back because of its convenient, to us, location in Southglenn, as well as the high quality of food. Even the individual who ordered duck found the side vegetables to be outstanding."

  • "We were hoping for a nice little splurge night out. Everything was just ok and did not in any way live up to the prices. Tiny portions. No table linens. We were seated in the middle of the cramped dining space with other diners and waitstaff squeezing by. Chairs could not fully slide up to the table because of a clunky table base. Not big stuff but irritating. The devil is in the details. Would not go back."

  • "Made reservations for a birthday dinner. Online menu was down but we made the reservations anyway. The Vegetarian Pasta was VERY small and not worth the $20. The burgers were large and filling, but they were over cooked. Over all, I was not happy with the experience and would not recommend going here. I went in with good expectations and was looking forward to having a good meal. The cost was not worth the goods received. Our server was very attentive and brought refills quickly."

  • "After a wonderful experience at the Ivy during last year's Restaurant Week, I had high expectations. While the service was wonderful, and the cheese platter appetizer was delicious, the entrees were rather disappointing. The pork tenderloin was dry, and my fellow-diners were equally underwhelmed with their selections. The bananas foster on the other hand (which they nicely comped for our birthday party) was a terrific finish. Great presentation and delish! It's a good restaurant, wonderful atmosphere, terrific service. Just not quite worth the $28-35 entree prices we paid."

  • "Waited 45 minutes past our reservation time and instead of an apology, we were just told we should have expected it on New Year's Eve. Not good service or management. Crab cakes were excellent, cioppino was good, lamb chops tasted fine but were very small. This used to be a favorite for us, and I'm sad to no longer recommend them."

  • "No need to drive into Denver when there is a great place to eat right here in Centennial. The food is consistently good and the service is above average. I do miss the servers that were there previously. It seems there are all new wait staff, although ours on New Years Eve was great, his name is Steve. I ordered the Lemon Salmon which was wonderful, my husband ordered the Lamb which he said was good, not great but good. The Bananas Foster prepared at the table is quite a treat and delicious. The only thing I see that needs improvement is the owner of the restaurant is present, but never says "Hello, welcome to The Ivy". I think it would be nice if he addressed the quests at his restaurant. All in all, a special place with great food."

  • "From the moment we walked in the door, the staff could not have been more attentive. Our waiter was first class! We were leary going in because of former reviews, but the food was fabulous! Because we had the Denver Daily Deal, I figured we wouldn't get the regular-size servings, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The portion sizes were more than enough, enough to bring home! We were celebrating our anniversary and after dinner our waiter brought us two glasses of Prosecco! What a wonderful way to end our evening."

  • "We had been to Ivy in the past and it was wonderful. Our experience on this visit was so disappointing. We waited over an hour to get our entrees, were served all but one plate and waited another 20 minutes for my husband's order to arrive. When it did, all of the food was lackluster at best. Additionally, we had told the waiter we had a concert to attend and were late due to their terrible service and inattentiveness. I will NEVER go back to this Ivy again!"
