We were there for 2 hours watching as the waitress ditty bopped around 2) the restaurant is in dire need of quality ventilation. It was smoky in there the whole time 3) our glasses of water were never refilled & we weren't asked if we wanted another drink and 4) even after telling the waitress & including it in the reservation, it was my husband's bday, it never acknowledged with anything special and 5) they were out of the wine I wanted and my husbands martini was watered down. Huge let down"

  • "Crab cake appetizers were very tasty and well presented. House salad with strawberries and pears was refreshing and unusual. Lamb was cooked perfectly. However, pork special wasn’t good at all and potatoes too smoky. We had to send it back and ordered Chilean in Sea Bass instead. That came out flavorful and perfectly flaky. Unfortunately, White Chocolate Crème Brule wasn’t up the par, too runny."

  • "Took my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner and was very happy with our experience! Service was knowledgable, attentive and unobtrusive, decor is classy and fit for either a casual lunch or nice romantic evening, and the food was SUPERB! I had lamb and he had the beef tenderloin, both were impeccably prepared to order, arrived quickly, and presented with obvious care and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend this for anything from a casual lunch spot to business dinners to impress!"

We had a wonderful evening dining on the patio overlooking a beautiful fountain-- everything was great including a visit from the restaurant owner who is intent on making sure every guest is well taken care of.   • "My boyfriend and I have been to the Ivy at the Glenn 5 or 6 times in the past few years. Every time we come leave saying "we won't be back for a while". We both have worked in the service industry and this place needs a lot of work! We decided to try the restaurant again after about a year lapse from the last time we ate there, we were sadly disappointed again: 1.) Please fix the hoods in your kitchen... the restaurant is ALWAYS unbelievably smokey and for someone who has sensitive eyes and wears contacts, it ruins the dining experience. 2.) Train your staff... from the hostesses to the managers. You charge WAY too much to not have great service. 3.) Consistency in food. My lamb was fatty and each chop was a different temp."

  • "Overall the food was great. I was a little confused by the heavy-handed amount of roasted garlic with the Caesar salad, but it worked out alright. The main course was the highlight by far, and the pecan pie was good as a more mild dessert, but I would try a different one next time. The service, on the other hand, was lackluster. I could tell the waiter knew what he was doing, but he must have been having an off night. From small things, like only providing 1 steak knife when we both needed one, to the larger, such as adding our neighbors' wine to our bill, he was having issues all night. I am hoping our next visit will be better, if we choose to return. The food was certainly good though. "

  • "This is an over priced restaurant for very poorly prepared food. The bread and oil starter was non-discript. The scallops ($32)were burned on the bottom and undercooked on the top the saffron risotto had no flavor or creaminess to it - tasted like just yellow overlooked rice. The asparagus (&6)was burned - the first plate never should have come out of the kitchen! The second plate wasn't much better. The waiter was fine but seemed uncomfortable. This was a VERY expensive meal! We will never return and I would suggest that you take your business elsewhere. "

  • "My wife and I went to Ivy on the Glen to celebrate our anniversary. The food was really good, had one of the best ceasar salads ever. My wife had steak and I had rack of lamb, we shared and both where great. Staff was nice and friendly. Had not been to the reaturant before and was a little nervus becouse it was our anniversary and wanted to good night and that is what we had."

  • "I've been wanting to try this place and it was disappointing. Everything was just okay...nothing I would recommend or go back for. Lamb was ok- sauce was the best part. The lamb was about 1/2 fat. The scallops were cooked properly but very small for $32. Salads were just "eh". Crab cakes were pretty good and probably what I enjoyed most. Dessert was a chocolate cake that was good but nothing to write home about. Service started well but got a little slower as the restaurant filled up. I think they only had two waiters working."

  • "Waitress was MIA most of the evening. Took forever to get the water glasses filled on several occasions. Ran out of Riesling and took almost ten minutes to get another drink. When the bartender was asked if the waitress was new, he responded, "no, we are just swamped." It was a Sunday evening and there were only four tables occupied outside and six inside (mostly parties of two) and a party of eight in a small dining area. If that is "swamped" then we will take our business elsewhere. When the bill came, we were charged for the second glass of Riesling we never received. Then, when we received the final check, the detail was not provided. My wife had to go inside and get the detail to verify the bill. "

We're at the restaurant for three hours and had to ask about every phase of our meal! Very disappointing, an anniversary dinner we can never get back!"

  • "The area under our table was notably dirty. The window blinds were speckled with with small dead flies - but we needed the blinds lowered because of the sun. We waited for about 15 minutes before I finally asked for a waiter to come to our table. We placed our order & 30 minutes later I inquired about the delivery of the meal. The waiter said it would be another 10 minutes. I asked when he placed the order and he said he "may have placed it late." We were just about to walk out when they finally delivered out meal. The food quality was actually good, but there is no possibility that I could recommend this restaurant or that I would go back. "

Host claimed someone stole the menus, finally sat us at the only table without a table cloth, with glasses that dirty, no wait staff in sight, could tell it was only going to get worse so we got up and walked out."

The Sea Bass special was an extraordinary mix of flavors and textures. It was truly amazing. We ordered a pecan tart. The waiter put a candle in it. What a special evening. "

  • "The atmosphere was nice and quiet but the food was just OK. Only one soup to choose from and it was very spicy green chili. On a cold day a cup of soup would have been great. Very accommodating and service was good. Great location by the fountain. I like the 1/2 option with sides - reasonably priced. Pulled pork sandwich is delicious!"

  • "We have been to Ivy at the Glenn a few times now for their brunch, and it is always excellent. The service is terrific, friendly and unobtrusive. Our only (minor!) issue is that the tables are too high for the bench/booth seats - they brought extra cushions immediately, which helped immensely. We'll be going back soon - and we will ask for our same server, Ezra!"

  • "We were pleasantly surprised at the vast selection of items for the Easter Brunch buffet. From tasteful extra large cocktail shrimp, crab legs, bacon wrapped scallops, to eggs Benedict, fresh made waffles and omelets everything was great. The only thing I noticed that could be improved is that the food could have been warmer. Also, it would be nice if the owner came to each table and said hello and thank you for coming. "
