  • "It was our first time at Comedy Night!! Loved it. Highly recommended!!"

  • "Great barbecue, My wife and I got the platter for two and still brought some home, ribs, brisket, pulled pork, jalapeño corn muffins, all so good for $30. The french onion soup was rich and delicious. Wait staff was on the ball, my drink glasses never hit bottom. Glad this was available in the area we normally have to drive an hour or more to find good live comedy. The Sunday night comedy show, and dinner made for a great night out."

  • "I've been there to eat before and really enjoyed my meal. I was not aware that it was Italian Night only and nothing else from the menu was offered. After I bragged to my date, I was a little disappointed. He was not really happy with the spaghetti and meatballs. We probably could have gone to eat somewhere else and then came back for the great entertainment. Thoroughly enjoyed Howl 2 Go. I certainly would return for that part of the night."

  • "Stupid that you can book a table if the rest is closed and even more stupid asking for my opinion!!!"

  • "We've attended several comedy nights here this summer. The entertainment was awesome, however, our service left a lot to be desired, compared to what we experienced here previously. We were not offered additional drinks, food was not served hot, and waited a long time for our check (think we were the last ones to get our check after the show). My husband had a burger which he said was awesome; I had a dinner which was barely warm and did not meet my expectations. I'll stick to a sandwich or app in the future. Expected more from our dinner experience."

  • "The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was exceptional. Party of 4 had a very nice time."

  • "Service was decent - took forever to get our good from kitchen - once we got it we had to rush so we didn't miss the beginning of out show we were going to in the hotel. The steak was prepared well but the lobster was not cooked at all - it ruined my husbands meal - my boasts was ok but the shrimp were a little undercooked and u was wary once I realized the lobster was also undercooked - I'm hoping we just had a bad experience and that this Resturant does not produce food like that everyday."

  • " made reservations for 8p.m. on a Sunday night. I did not realize there would be comedians performing. It was awkward, because we wanted to talk, and of course, we remained quiet, out of politeness. I wouldn't go for dinner at that time again."

  • "Service was great! The Italian soups were really superior! The PASTA selection was very well developed with really interesting selections and additions. Desert was to my surprise really good! The entire set price dinner was $12.50. We had a great bottle of Chianti for $17.00! Overall, good value for the service, atmosphere and especially the FOOD!"

  • "Enjoyable evening, good food and the entertainment was very good."

  • "We arrived on time for our reservation, only to find out they had sat a full dining room. The wait would be 30 minutes. They offered us a seat in the bar area. It was obvious that the server was overwhelmed. Unfortunately they were not serving their regular menu, but an Italian special. The food was okay. Nothing special...would not go back for it again Overall, I wouldn't recommend going to Vegas Baby on a Thursday night. And be warned...they don't care about reservations. The couple behind is had a reservation, as well. They, too, ended up in the bar for dinner."

  • "We had a great evening at It's Vegas Baby on Sunday evening. Sunday is Comedy Night, so we hunkered down for two hours, a couple adult beverages, and split an appetizer first and sandwich later. I think the menu is a bit limited, but not bad. We like that you can enjoy the show and just have drinks, a full meal or in-between. We will definitely come back!"

  • "My wife and I were staying at the Blue Chip and decided to try It's Vegas Baby. We were pleasant surprised by the quality and quantity of the food and the service we received. We started with the Crab Dip appetizer which was very good and there was so much that we had the left over wrapped to bring back to the room. We both had the French Onion soup which was good but I hvae had better. Finally, we split the Drunken Chicken specialty. Again, there was a lot of food and we were glad we shared one order because there would have been too much food. The waitress was kind enough to split the mash potatoes, green beans and chicken onto two plates before bringing it to us. Everything was very good."

  • "Ate here before and had issues but returned for second try, bad decision. Ordered crab dip appetizer, if it's not real crab, please say so. Ordered chicken dumpling soup, heavy herb vs little chicken flavor. Dumplings very hard, dry, and heavy. I had country fried steak, one we ord, MEH! Another in the party ordered fried chicken dinner. Came 2 little legs and 2 thighs. Complained and waitress made good returning 15 mins later after we were done dining with the proper pieces fried golden brown but literally tasteless, don't know how that was accomplished. The beer, draft and bottles barely chilled. The third in the party had a burger and mixed drink and said both very good. The waitress did comp the chicken dinner , since one dined alone "

  • "You won't be confused. You definitely are still in Michigan City not Vegas. But the food is good and the bar is nearny. Unfortunately on Friday and Saturday you'll have to put up with 40-something groups of women trying way too hard to be "wacky"."

  • "Booked a dinner with 5 girls for a special occasion. We were seated in the middle of the dance floor at a round table. The place didn't seem very crowded so if was hard to understand why the service was extremely slow! We were not in a hurry, but it took over 20 minutes to receive our waters and drinks. We weren't read any specials and our server had to tell us how many tables she had and how new she was. 2 ladies in our group work as servers, so they understood how hard it could be but still no excuse for the lack of even checking on us to see if we needed anything. We got our appetizers and had to wait another 10 minutes for plates."

  • "I come to the blue chip every year for my birthday and theirs year I decided to check out this restaurant. Big mistake! The food was terrible and the service could use some work. This place is also a night club and every night it seems like it's the place to be which is why I wanted to check it out. I was completely disappointed."

  • "My wife and I had a wonderful dining experience in It's Vegas Baby! My steak sandwich was the tastiest I've ever had...other food was outstanding. Great drinks too! Loved the ambiance of the whole place and would definitely eat there again. Reservations were a must for the dinner hour."

  • "My date was my hubbie of 30+ years. It's possible to get a table in the corner up on the mezzanine for a little privacy or be at/around floor level where it's more open. We had a leisurely dinner before a show. The food is always good and there is a lot of variety, however the white wine selection could be a little wider. This is our favorite restaurant at this casino. There is only smoking in the bar but it drifts over to the dining tables so sit on the other side of the room if you can't stand the smoke. We liked watching the history of Vegas up on the big screen."

  • "We've eaten at this restaurant many times. The pot roast dinner is the best I've had at a restaurant. Very good flavor. The atmosphere at the restaurant is very nice with low lighting. It's fun to watch the film they show (no sound) of old Las Vegas. I would recommend this restaurant as a romantic, upscale place."

  • "I was looking for reservations for a Valentines Day dinner and wasn't having much luck. My wife and I love the Blue Chip Casino so I did a little search about the restaurants located there. I found 'It's Vegas Baby' with pics and a menu online through Open Table and decided to give it a chance. I was able to get reservations and we had a very romantic and enjoyable evening. Open Table was extremely easy to use and I would recommend it to my family and friends."

  • "We had a pleasant dinner. The food was delicious and exactly what they described in the menu. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. The salmon on rice was tasty."

  • "A special menu for valentines day was delicious. My husband had the beef wellington while I ordered the scallops. The scallops may have been a tad underdone but all tasted wonderful. Beef was cooked medium rare and the puff pastry crust and filling was perfectly done. Main course with carrots and asparagus presented so attractively. Our server was solicitous but allowed just enough privacy for a romantic valentines dinner! We'll be back!"

  • "A good friend and I chose this place to catch up and do something different. Our waitress was very good. She recommended food that was amazing, brought us everything we asked for, & was fun, sweet and respectful. We had the best time with the band, they were fantastic. I will definitely be going there again sometime soon."

  • "We went on a Saturday night with a group. Wasn't too crowded. Got sat and served quickly. We all enjoyed our meals. Crab & artichoke appetizer was delicious and I loved the Tomato salad. The men had the steak and eggs and ribs. They all enjoyed that as well. DJ came on about 10 and I enjoyed the music. The older ones in our group weren't too impressed but only because it wasn't their type of music."

  • "We had a 6:45 reservation prior to a show. We arrived early and they seated us right away, which was nice. We sat for 5 minutes before anyone came to the table. A server dropped of water and disappeared. When he returned he took our food order so fast we didn't even get to order drinks. The food was mediocre. We ordered the jalapeno poppers appetizer which was good but the cheese dip on the side was cold. For our meals one person had a burger and fries which were good. I had chicken fried steak which was alright, but I was given raw green beans as my side. Overall I have had way better experiences dining in other casinos, and will look for somewhere else to have dinner before the show next time. It wasn't worth what we paid for what we got"

  • "We had a 6:30 reservation on a Saturday night. We were seated immediately, but took forever to get a waitress to our table. The food was not worth the wait. French onion soup was so salty it actually made my lips pucker. We sent it back. The green beans with my dinner were raw - raw. The pasta on my friend's plate was overcooked and sticky. The only "good" dish was the panzanella salad - but I don't know how hard it would be mess up tomatoes and mozzarella. They were completely understaffed. Everyone was seated quickly, and sat and waited for service. Very disappointing."

  • "From beginning to end I think this may have been one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. My friends and I made a reservation and definitely were excited to check this place out. However, once we were sat it's as if the restaurant was done with their job. Twenty minutes to get greeted at the table, for ever to get our drinks and once we finally made a food order they forgot to even put it in. Literally we got our food before we got our appetizer that was burnt anyway and inedible. I hate complaining because I've been a server for so long but if it wasn't for the fact we were on a time crunch at the point we got anything to the table..we would have left. I think I'll stick with the Steakhouse or The Game if we come back."

  • "They still allow smoking in casinos in Indiana therefore my three friends and I spent the entire time gasping for air as we were gassed out of this restaurant. Will NOT go back."

  • "The Thursday night entertainment feature is dueling pianos, which is very fun! It is pretty impressive that the play list for the evening is ALL Requests! Very competent keyboard players, nice voices, funny, and the interaction with the audience is very fun. We were a party of 6 and had a great evening. The "Dueling Martini" is quite good!"
