Ithaka continues to amaze us as we try different items (at each visit) from their authentic greek menu. The service is brisk. We are always greeted by the genuinely warm and friendly maitre d. We love it!!

Service was caring,quick and helpful, but restaurant was so dark(unlike the on-line photo) that we had to use small flashlights to struggle to read the menu. Very disappointed that there was no roast lamb, normally a staple of Greek cooking. Would have appreciated more pita in bread basket, as we ordered 3 dipping appitizers. Food was "OK".

Fresh fish was cooked perfectly -- the waiters boned the fish after it came out for us -- and the accompanying vegetables were delicious as well.
All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

Have been a regular goer whenever I'm in the neighborhood, and loved them when were still in the Village. The service was quite off the last time I was there, but I'd like to think it was an exception. It will not prevent me from returning. The food is consistently good and authentic.

If you like authentic, then Ithaka is for you! I enjoyed a glass of red wine from the Peloponnesian Peninsula, which was DELISH! I couldn't wait to order a lamb dish, and I wasn't disappointed. The clay pot Lamb meal (which requires 25 minutes to prepare) was everything I hoped for!

The food was outstanding and the service impeccable. The wine list is a bit limited, but the selection of interesting Greek wines was fun to sample. The lamb dishes are very good. We has a large sampling of appetizers and you could easily make a fine meal for a group from the large selection of hot and cold appetizers. Think of it as Greek Tapas. I had dinner there two nights in a row while visiting NYC, so that speaks for itself

The food was good and we arrived early, so as to not have too much noise. The waiter asked if I wanted a refill on my coffee. When I said yes, he brought me another check. Be aware!
