  • "Appies and Pasta are usually very consistent. The appies special in the sampling size was excellent. Unfortunately one of the pasta and a pizza we ordered were extremely salty. We didn't want to be rude, so we just ate half of them and did not send it back. I would recommend this place, hopefully it won't be as salty next time"

  • "Ambience was good for the type of Italian Cuisine however arugula & beets salad was not as fresh as I expected as I can find yellow leaves & already cut beets from couple days ago. Meatball spaghetti was OK, is just the sauce was a bit salty. I'm not a picky eater however for the price they're charging I expected a higher quality product."

  • "The food was fantastic! We were a party of four. Two of us had the special (smoked bacon ravioli with salmon and lemon cream sauce). And two of us had the pasta sample platter. We were also debating about ordering a side of meatballs to start and decided to skip it and order calamari instead. Our waitress brought out a plate, on her, so we could try them. I can't remember her name, but she was very helpful and friendly, and helped make it a great experience. We'll definitely be going back!"

The scallops were great, but only 5 of them for $32.00, not a great deal. Wine list is good with options on lower priced or higher wines. Overall most food prices were overpriced but the atmosphere was lively."

  • "My girlfriend and I were both craving Italian food, and immediately the Italian Kitchen came to mind. I especially was craving their Paparadelle dish with lamb. Upon arrival, we were smart enough to make a reservation before hand so there was no waiting on our part. We were seated immediately on the upper level, in a quiet corner. Unfortunately due to the fact that they had a large party so we were moved to a better spot, which was closer to the window. Because of the move, the restaurant manager told us that the desserts would be on the house because of the possible inconvenience to move may have had on us. Long story short, the food was absolutely amazing, the service was just fantastic, the ambiance, again, fantastic. Overall, amazing!"

  • "We have been to Italian Kitchen many times before. We have never been disappointed. The pasta platter for 2 is a great option. The kids menu has some great gourmet but kid friendly items. Our youngest son (12) always gets the steak. The service is always excellent. This is our number one choice for family celebrations."

  • "Bad start to the experience from the get go. Arrived and stood in the entrance for at least a minute, maybe 2-3, without being acknowledged at all--a staff member was doing something off to the side with her back to us, and another (who turned out to be our waitress) showed up maybe 30 seconds later to discuss something with her. Work related it seemed, but she saw and glanced over multiple times at us 5 feet away without so much as a hello or that'd she'd be with us in a moment, leaving us to stand there awkwardly. It was not busy at the restaurant either as we arrived a bit before 11:45 for lunch. The veal dish recommended to me was a bit sour for my liking. Complete contrast to excellent service received at Black & Blue 2 days prior. "

  • "Found this restaurant through the open table app reviews and so glad I did! We had made a reservation as we had a short window for lunch. We were seated right away, our waiter was pleasant, smiling and helpful with recommendations. We opted for the special risotto of the day and the carpaccio pizza- all 3 of us agreed the meals were delicious and piping hot! Our waiter recognized we were in a bit of a hurry and put a little rush on our meals. Great service, price was reasonable nice setting!"

  • "Had never been to Italian Kitchen but was pleasantly surprised. From the outside one might think it a pretentious place, but it's actually quite warm and vibrant with fast, friendly service. The food was delicious, the cocktails were made with quality ingredients, and the desserts were brought in from somewhere that obviously specializes in the craft. All this for a reasonable rate. Would definitely recommend to friends. And while there is seating available for kids... probably best to leave them at home!"

  • "I used to love going to the Italian Kitchen for their truffle cream spaghetti and kobe beef meatballs, which is what I had the other night. The food, unfortunately, just isn't the same anymore. The meatballs are just regular beef, are much smaller, and the cream sauce has no truffle in it, just a few minor shavings on top. A classic case of a restaurant cutting corners on a great dish, just to save some money. Needless to say, I won't be going back specifically for this dish anymore. Other than that, service was good, and the noise level high as always, but that doesn't bother me."

When seated the waiter would pour over the group to fill water or wine. When asked the waiter to light the candle he did not acknowledge the request. Did not enjoy the dining experience at all. Will never go back. "

  • "I met friends for lunch. The restaurant has a lovely feel to it, and the wine menu is unbelievably good. The service was friendly and quick. However, I found the risotto was too salty and and bit undercooked. Also, we asked for the music to be turned down because it was difficult to converse... but it remained loud. I will give it a second try."

The hostess reminded me as she was taking us to our table that the table was to be seated again in 2 hrs. Yeah - ok, fine. So we were seated and then proceeded to wait about 15min before our server came to get our drink orders. By that time, we placed our entire order. The food arrived and was fine - just the noise level was very loud. Difficult for the 3 of us to converse without yelling. Decent restaurant but I wouldn't say 'outstanding' by any means. "

Varied, interesting menu, good food, appropriate portions (not overstuffed like some restaurants these days), and a nice wine list. The service was great. Our waitress was very nice and pleasant to chat with throughout the evening. It's a bit noisier than I care for, but that is a minor issue. We will definitely return for a third visit."

Our table of 5 had to all sit on one side of our round table, to get out of the way of the wait staff, and other diners. Ask to sit downstairs or on the patio."

  • "It was a quiet morning when we came. They seated us in a good spot by the windows. We tried two pasta dishes which they split in half so that we can easily share. The Spaghetti Bolognese was tasty, but I found it too meaty. The Linguini Gamberi was very good though. I wouldn't change a thing. I just wish there were more of it. For $20, I expected a fuller portion. But anyway, we also ordered their special pizza of the day - which, unfortunately, we didn't enjoy. Mind you, I am not a picky eater. Our server was thoughtful enough to ask his manager to take it out of our bill. We had great service so I'm looking forward to coming back to try more pasta dishes."

  • "We've been to Italian Kitchen several times for brunch or lunch and the food is never bad. Their quattro formaggio pizza is my favourite. But the last two times we went there, we were seated at the 2nd floor and gosh it was SO NOISY. Couldn't even have any conversations with my friends and even the waitress couldn't hear us when we were ordering. SO NOISY! "

  • "In hindsight I probably should have read reviews before coming here on a first date, and my birthday. The food was EXCELLENT, but the place was SO loud; I couldn't hear the person across from me. I could easily place my hands on the shoulders of guests at the tables on either side of me. The waitress was very nice and easy going, but I sort of expected a more professional attitude. Referring to a bottle of wine as "Like, Redic" caught me off guard. Seemed better suited for the bar area. The company I was with felt awkward being there, so we made the most of it and got dessert and coffee somewhere a little more intimate. As for dress code, as mentioned on the door: People beside me were in lulu's and a hoodie, so dont worry about that."

  • "I enjoyed this restaurant except for two things. One, it is very noisy. Two, when we arrived, the hostess put us upstairs at the table that is at the end of the server's station/bar. It is up against a wall and there is barely enough room for people to walk by when you are seated here. We requested another table. We got another table but were told we had to be gone by 830pm as another large party was coming. While we were eating, I noticed another group of four were seated at the table we did not want. The look on their faces said it all: the table is poorly located, inappropriate and uncomfortable. Restaurant is simply trying to squeeze in 4 more diners at the expense of the patrons dining experience. This table should be removed"
