Four of us celebrated a friend's birthday and had a great evening. Each of us has very different food preferences, but we all found something delicious to have for dinner. We began with wonderful home made bread and herbed butter, evolved to our entrees and excellent Pinot Noir, and ended by splitting two desserts. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, warm and intelligent. We will be back. I can confidently recommend the fish selections and any pasta on the menu. The only drawback is that the dining area becomes quite loud so this is not a place for intimate conversation. Go anyway. It is worth the animated environment!

I took my DeKalb-Sycamore area monthly dining group for a repeat visit to Isacco Kitchen, and once again it was a generally positive experience. The server was new to his job and didn't have quite the polish that he needed (stated wrong policy on separate checks, had a bit of trouble keeping individual wine orders straight), but will learn quickly, I think. The food was very good, except that one person in our group found the skirt steak hard to cut and hard to chew. The noise level was a bit too high to permit easy conversation between people at opposite ends of our long, nine-person table, but those are the chances we take. The menu is very innovative, and part of Isacco's appeal. My wife and I have enjoyed outdoor dining in warm weather.

We chose to have our anniversary dinner here and we're glad we did. The food was fabulous from the appetizer through dessert. Although the restaurant is small, and we were seated right outside the kitchen, the food was so delicious and interesting that we hardly noticed the activity around us.

My husband and I have been to Isacco Kitchen many times. The food is always outstanding and that is why we continue to go back. The food is prepared fresh and the cuisine is out-of-the-ordinary Italian. It is a great place for a special occasion -- or a 'date night'. There also is a nice patio for outdoor eating. We highly recommend this restaurant.
