"Great place, the food is excelent, the service marvelous and the view breathtaking. Our only problem that day was the noisy couple next to us, a couple of young kids who still don't know how to behave in nice places. At the end the fireworks shows were fantastic.
Any time We go back to Pittsburgh, I will be there."

"As usual, the food at Isabela's was fantastic. Duck over polenta was prepared to perfection and the best duck we've had locally. The owner and staff are gracious and the view is spectacular. We were very pleased that they had no problem accommodating the vegetarian in our party. Definitely impressed our guests from out of town."

"Isabela's was fantastic! We went for a night on the town, going to the symphony afterward. The service was great, food impeccable, and ambiance romantic. The view can't be beat. We will be going back!"

"I made reservations at Isabela for my husband's birthday. We have talked about going there for years (we live on Mt. Washington so we generally go to the less expensive restaurants). We felt at home as soon as we walked in; street parking was easy to find, and we were greeted by the owner at the door. He took us to our table which had a gorgeous, amazing view of the city. Our meals were fantastic (I had the veggie-friendly and he had the meat-friendly). Both were excellent. We split a yummy bottle of wine, and left the restaurant full and happy. It's really expensive, but worth the money to go for a special occasion or to celebrate a special person."

"Despite our running behind schedule the staff was very pleasant when I phoned and upon our arrival at the restaurant. I had requested a table with a view when I made the reservation and immediately we were taken to a table with a view that couldn't have been better if they seated us on the roof. The service was excellent, the staff knowledgeable, the food delicious. I have only positive things to report."

"We were VERY disappointed in our meal and service attentiveness. I dined at Isabela's once before and it was great. This time, the food was remarkably average. We had to ask for coffee even though we were the only table left. There were only 3 tables on the Monday night when we visited and after the last course was served, everyone just left!! For the money it definitely wasn't worth it. Probably won't return and definitely wouldn't recommend to friends."

"We went for a special occasion dinner and were not disappointed. The 7 course meal was amazing and only rivaled by the beautiful view. The staff and owner were very attentive and made our visit memorable. We will absolutely return."

"We arrived at Isabela February 11 after a cold ride up on the Duquesne Incline! George greeted us warmly and we were shown to our seats by a window. The food was wonderful fom the amuse bouche to dessert. The sorbet was carrot with vanilla! I would have never imagined sorbet of that flavor. My husband made different choices for each course and shared. George took pictures of the guests and we were each given a picture of our Valentine visit. My husband commented that he felt we were the only ones in the room! After dinner, we had a short walk to the incline to our car. A most memorable Valentine eveing!"
