  • "I was first introduced to this restaurant at a wine tasting in Jupiter where we were given a sample of the diver scallops. They were so delicious! We kept going back to the vendor for more. After that DELICIOUS first impression, I decided to celebrate my birthday at Ironwood Grill, accompanied by 7 friends. Four of us ordered the scallops. They were very good, but not as delicous as they were on the day we sampled them at the wine tasting. The service and the ambiance were fantastic and the menu had an excellent wine selection. We will definitely return."

  • "We eat at Ironwood frequently and were very disappointed in the service we received on Friday night. It started with the hostess. When my husband and I arrived, we asked the hostess if our guests were there yet and she said no. So we walked around for 15-20 minutes and were getting very concerned, when our friends came out from the bar area where they had been waiting for us. They had told the hostess they were waiting and she had forgotten it. So that got the evening off to a poor start. Our server was inattentive I had to ask the manager to have our waiter come to the table to take our order after 30+minutes. We had to ask to have them bring bread to the table. If this was our first visit, we wouldn't come back."

  • "The Prices WAY too high. One person in my group ordered fish and the portion size was so small it looked silly on the size plate it came on. The cast iron skillet chicken was dry and they ran out of cast iron skillets so just came out on a plate. The scallops were over cooked. Very disappointed"

  • "Had some service and food issues. My steak had to be sent back twice because it was overcooked and chewy. At $40 a steak this shouldn't be the case. The third was edible but not even great. Server was a bit all over the place (perhaps stretched too thin) and overall the experience was just...eh. way overpriced for eh."

Better get their act together before the Honda Classic."

  • "The bar is large and noisy but it's in the lobby adjacent to the restaurant. and does not disturb.There are larger and smaller dining rooms, tables or booths, spaces good for private parties as well as for a romantic dinner. The service is attentive and friendly. There is something on the menu for every taste, with an emphasis on various types of steak. Both meat and fish dishes are well prepared. The asparagus side is delicious as are the crab cakes and beet salad. We're partial to the filet mignon, tuna or fresh fish of the day. During the weekend there is an active piano bar and singer next to the restaurant - should you want to converse with your dining partners you could ask to be seated at a table farther away from the music."

  • "I should not have waited to review this. We came because it was hard getting late reservations for 4 on a Saturday night and we had read of the PGA Resorts's $100 mn makeover. The outside, lobby, lobby bar and restaurant beat expectations. We live within 10 minutes and will be back. My only disappointment was that I like my steaks cooked over a grill rather than in a broiler. But the meat was tender and tasty."

  • "Where to start! Cookie, our server was attentive, timely and doted on our tablle of four, which included two birthdays. Great selection of wine by the glass. Salads and appetizers were timely, well-prepared and presented. Of note, the Tomato and Mozzarella salad was beautiful and tasted wonderful. All of the entrees were exceptional, not a complaint on any. Dessert! Wow - Salted Chocolate Panna Cotta, Key Lime Pie with Meringue. The highlight was when Chef Josh Sayers came out to the table and spoke with us and then went and played Greenslleeves on the piano! He also surprised us with the Blueberry Bread Puding - to die for! He has a second career if he desires. We'll be back!"

  • "Christmas day dinner at Ironwood was excellent. We enjoyed the special holiday menu items of prime rib and a turkey dinner that were both well prepared, well seasoned and delicious. The wait staff was smiling, professional and attentive. I do not have high expectations for holiday dining as a full restaurant with minimal staff is tough, but Ironwood management overcame usual problems and was shining with solid service. Only blemish was an apple tart that seemed commercially made which is not cool at top prices. We look forward to staying at the resort and enjoying Ironwood on a regular weekend."

Polite service, but missed a couple important steps: food had to be sent back for further cooking, food served w/o stated sauce. The menu is a la carte and very overpriced for what you get. Overall, I hope Ironwood improves a few things because it is a great location and beautiful atmosphere!"

  • "The décor is lovely and the atmosphere is very nice. Our waiter was experienced but a little absent-minded at times. We started by splitting a Caesar Salad. We asked for no anchovies, but got large chunks of them. Other than the anchovies, the salad was rather bland and tasteless. We also had to ask three times for regular butter as the butter that comes with a trio of bread accompaniments was far too sweet for our liking. The main courses were much better. I had a very good salmon and my wife loved her red snapper. The wine list was quite nice and the bottle of white we chose was properly chilled. All in all, it was a pleasant, if not particular memorable, dining experience."

  • "We arrived promptly at 6:45 for our 6:45 reservation. Nobody showed up to greet us for 20 mins, and then they were gone for another 10. They have placed the podium (for some unknown reason) in the front of the bar. Therefore no one can see the restaurant or the patrons..very strange...then, once we were finally seated (the restaurant was 2/3,s empty) We waited 20 mins. B/4 anyone showed to take a drink order or bring water. We order steaks and an order of fries. The filet was prepared to order and very good quality. The bone in filet was similar to a Publix choice grade . The hand cut french fried were seasoned curly fries same as Bar 91 or Chick-Fil-e! Our server was delightful , and I think felt as badly as we did .....What a shame"

  • "We went on Thanksgiving night. Yes, it was super crowded, but I would assume they only seat however many they can serve. I don't think we had our water glasses refilled or our server even stopped by our table for way more than half of our meal. We got the check as quickly as we could because we knew we'd never see our server again."

  • "My husband and I like to eat here occasionally and have never been disappointed. This year we had out of town guests for Thanksgiving and decided to try this for a change instead of eating at home. What a treat! Although we were hesitant at first if the 'Thanksgiving' menu would really apply, it did. Although we were offered the regular menu when asked, the Thanksgiving menu offered all the traditional items with the chef's signature on every item. It was exquisite. I believe this will become our new tradition from here on out."

  • "Planned for a special evening. Wait staff evidently had a new plan of table assignments and had difficulty being in several locations at once. Chef seemed unaware of what is meant by medium rare and didn't get it right after 2 tries. Also led to a big time separation in arrival of meals to the table. First time I have had such a poor experience at this pricey restaurant."
