My husband and I are Mug Clubbers, the program is King of the Hill now. We love to go for date night, sit in the bar and do appetizers and beer. The craft brews on tap are amazing! Two that we really like are Mahalo Apollo and Russian Imperial Stout. Our favorite apps are the egg roll sampler, the loaded nachos, and the Voodoo pizza. Our daughter was visiting from CA, so we took her on Sunday after church. She loved it.

So, I have always heard that if you like Medium Rare burgers, and they don't come out Medium Rare, and you re-order them, and the STILL don't come out Medium Rare, its a good indication that something is "funky" with the meat. Meaning a lower grade of ground meat. Well, this was exactly the case during our dinner. The Manager was even the one who went back and had our burgers rushed. I've eaten here before (loved the Ribs), but the burgers? I'd steer clear of.

Iron Hill Wilmington used to be my husbands and my go to restaurant for date night. We went right after church this past Sunday, after not having gone for about a year. As we sat their drinking our Dark Side out of mugs and enjoying the blue crab quesadilla, we both wondered why we hadn't been to Iron Hill for so long. After eating our entree of perfectly seared scallops with the creamiest fava bean risotto (daily special) we renewed our Mug Club/King of The Hill membership, and vowed to be regulars again. Love this place!

The location is great (on the riverfront with a view of the water) parking is excellent (a plus for an urban environment) and the noise level was low, though the restaurant was busy. Caesar Salad was the lunch choice with grilled chicken breast. The salad was very pleasant, but the chicken breast was so over cooked, you needed your beverage to swallow (very dry...but not burnt). Service was adequate, though our server did not really check on us until it was obvious that we had finished our lunch and still patiently waiting for a refill of beverages. I will be back, and hoping that a better cook is on duty!!!

I made my reservations however was told that they couldn't honor the time because they had large parties and I had made my reservations a half hour before I came. I just don't know why they wouldn't have blocked off the space if they were full or I don't know, call me to tell me that the time I had reserved wasn't available. So I had to wait a half hour to be seated with a squirmy toddler who was famished. I would've gone somewhere else had I known. The food was okay, nothing to go crazy about. Our server was the one bright light that night.

We took our granddaughter here for a high school graduation treat. We all enjoyed the ambiance as well as the menu. There was something to appeal to everyone (4). The quantities were large enough to satisfy a teenager and there were not-so-large selections for the adults. The food was delivered promptly and looked appetizing. The beer selection was very good and our server was able to describe the nuances of several of the beers. The only downside was a glass of white St. Michelle Riesling that tasted flat and almost watered down. In spite of that, we will definitely go back.

Service was good and staff was very accommodating in allowing us to bump the time of our reservation due to getting caught in I-95 traffic. Was unimpressed by the Ahi-tuna entree (with cucumbers and rice) but glad to see .the tuna is back on the menu. Overall an enjoyable meal

We came to Iron Hill for our anniversary lunch because we knew we would receive perfect service and food, and that's exactly what we got! My crabcake was delectable and hubby's Brewski Burger was done to perfection! We were greeted with anniversary greetings by the kindly host/hostess staff, and our server, Jaret, was attentive and friendly. The chef, Gerardo, sent out his best regards. The manager, Jordan, also stopped by with good wishes. I'm telling you, you can go to other restaurants if you want, but Iron Hill is unparalleled in the restaurant industry, no matter if you pay a fortune somewhere else.

We were a table of 8, ordered multiple appetizers, everyone had a different entree and beer flavor. No one complained, everything was DELICIOUS! Esp the bread, it was so good I could've eaten 5 loafs. I usually don't like beer but I tried a light raspberry one - it was good, drinkable. There wasn't much left for take out, we ate just about everything. I have a sensitive stomach so I'm convinced the entire meal was high quality, I felt good afterward and was even in the mood for desert (which was also delicious)! None of their food bothered or felt heavy in my stomach, nor was it difficult to digest. I was surprised when I felt energized afterward, rather than feeling tired and over-filled. I'd go more often but its expensive! $$$

This is a nice place to come on the Wilmington Waterfront. The view is nice, the food is good and the service is very good. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. We had a group of 9 older ladies, some who didn't hear so well, but our server, Lorraine, made herself heard and served us smoothly and efficiently. All the ladies at the table enjoyed their meals, everything was very tasty. We were comfortable and never felt rushed. We appreciated our hostess putting us in the dining room, because not many of the ladies would have been willing to climb the stairs, and some couldn't use the elevator. So overall we had a wonderful time and appreciate the kindness, consideration, and respect given to an older group!

Very poor service on Mother's Day. Seated and waited 20 minutes to place order, food came 40 minutes later. Staff provided the table water when they took our food orders, but they never came back during our 40 mintute wait to see if we would like anything else to drink or to refill our long-empty water glasses. The worst part was that we were is a a very open area not far from the bar, and not just seated in a corner where it would be easy to forget about us. Yes, it was Mother's Day, but this level of poor service is still not justifed.

We take our two children to Iron Hill almost every week. We went on Mother's Day, with reservations that requested a high chair and they tried to seat us at a high table. Very inconsiderate. The host basically left us to figure out our own problem and we had to sit outside. Disappointing. Food was fine, I'm never impressed with their seafood quality. The server was excellent.

We love visiting Iron Hill Brewery on the Wilmington Riverfront. There is lots going on at the Riverfront. Even better is what is going on INSIDE! I had the most wonderful crabcake, and my husband had a delicious burger. And of course there is the great service. Our server, Lorraine, made sure our order was just how we like it. Iron Hill CONSISTENTLY has the cleanest facility, freshest menu, and best service around!

I love eating at Ironhill Brewery on the Riverfront. My husband and I don't live very far, so it is very convenient for one of our favorite restaurants. We probably go there at least twice a month. It does get even busier in the summer, so it is best to make reservations but I think if you want to eat outside you don't need (or they don't take?) reservations. We go there just the two of us, with family or with friends. The menu is diversified and big enough and there is something to pick from for everyone. If it ever closed, I would really, really, really miss it!
