  • "My wife had a good night. We enjoyed Iron Hill Brewery for it's food and it's beers. We then went to the colonial theater for a show. It was a nice evening. Thanks"

  • "We had been to this restaurant several years ago for the very same reason- an Al Stewart show at the Colonial Theater in Phoenixville. The restaurant was very accommodating. We ran into some friends who were waiting for a table (30-45 minute wait) who were also going to the show and I asked if I could modify my reservation from 2 to 4 and they said no problem. The service was very attentive - but not intrusive- and the food was excellent. I had Cream of Asparagus soup as an appetizer and it was excellent. My wife enjoyed her salad as well. I had the ribs and they were the falling off the bone kind - very tender and delicious. The BBQ sauce has just a hint of kick to it. My friend had a burger and raved about it as well. All were happy."

  • "Iron Hill has great food, with a large selection of daily specials as well. I've never had a bad meal at this restaurant. The staff is very friendly & attentive. I made reservations for my son's birthday & our table for 7 was ready upon arrival. They also had a gluten free menu already set at the table for my sister. Only once did we have an issue with the timeliness of our order & the manager took care of it. My only critique is that I probably wouldn't recommend it for large groups, as it is extremely loud and to hold a conversation."

  • "Nice gluten free menu. Restaurant was very crowded and loud, but they got us in and out in 1.25 hrs. Since we were short on time, it worked well for us."

  • "We chose the location and timing for a group to gather from many places. We had 5 attend, but were ready at a nice table set for 8. We all liked it."

  • "Noise level is so high that my partner and I could barely hear one another across the table. Food was OK, but prices are high."

  • "Great place to relax and enjoy after a long work week, great service and servers."

  • "As a brewery the beers were very good and what I had hoped for. The food was very good, although a little on the high end in price. We ordered a scallop appetizer and it can out with three scallops on it. For the price, and a brewery, we expected at least 5 scallops. This isn't a 5 star restaurant in the city after all where everything is based on ambiance and presentation. The mushroom soup was vegetarian, made my day - and was very tasty! Wish they sold that in growlers to go. It was super busy and we got their very early because we wanted to check out the bar. The bar staff was very friendly and even though there were many people they helped us and never batted an eye when we asked for things. Our dinner server was also very attentive."

  • "My girlfriend and I love Iron Hill. We go for anniversary dinners or just to have a nice night out. The food is fantastic and the people working there are very professional and personable. You feel comfortable and taken care of no matter what. I'd go here every night if I could!"

  • "We made reservations, asked for a booth, were told they when being seated they were for those with "reservations" which we had. Then told they were holding a booth for a party of 5 which turned out to be 4 as we were. Just don't lie to me! The noise level was so high that any pleasant conversation at out table in the middle was not possible. Our server was outstanding, the only redeeming part of the evening. I was disappointed in the overall experience."

  • "Took my family to the Iron Hill Brewery for a birthday lunch, and had a great time. Our server was outstanding, our food was great and the atmosphere was vibrant. I would recommend Iron Hill to anyone visiting Phoenixville!"

  • "Great food, Great service. Nothing bad to say about the place."

  • "I have been to other Iron Hills, and this location is by far the best!"
    Dined on 3/15/2014
  • "Food is tasty. It has the feel of a nice midscale restaurant as opposed to a brew pub. Wide choice of food--all well done."

  • "Our recent dining experience was fun - the waitress was both knowledgeable as well as entertaining, the food was very good and to boot it benefitted our Church!"

  • "Food was kind of Ordinary, not special at all. My wife had Fish & Chips, It should have been called Chips & Fish--two very small pieces of fish and a massive amount of chips. I had the Baby Back Ribs, not vey hot internally which indicated to me that they had been prepared days before,"

  • "We had a delicious dinner at Iron Hill but we were seated next to a birthday celebration table which was incredibly noisy!"

  • "This was our night out for Valentine's Day. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Some young families were there. Quiet enough that it was easy to talk. Food was much better than you'd expect for a family restaurant. A big plus for me is that they are so friendly for Gluten Free. We have eaten there before, and will definitely be back."

  • "We had a great time at Iron Hill Brewery on Saturday night. We enjoyed the meal very much, and have been there several times. I LOVE the gumbo, and my wife enjoys the bisque. Additionally, we sampled your raw oysters and calamari, and both were tasty. Entrees were NY Strip(MR) for the Mrs, and I had the Ahi Tuna(Rare). Both were cooked perfectly and hit the spot as we enjoyed ourselves for nearly 2.5 hours at your establishment. We shared crème brulee for dessert, and I tried several of your beers during the evening. My ONLY disappointment was that you were out of the IPA, but I'll get over it. We had a great time. Thank-you."

  • "Despite the odds of ever getting out of the icy tundra parking lot across the street, we enjoyed our meal immensely. The service was top notch. Our server without asking brought two samples over to the table when i was close to finishing my first beer. That is service. We won't return to this Iron Hill until the ice melts, but we will be back."

  • "There was no wait for a table on Valentines Day, which was incredible. We arrived an hour ahead of our reservation time and the hostess found us a table instantly. Our waiter was knowledgeable and efficient, drinks, appetizers and main course were brought out quickly."

  • "It was Valentines Day and we made late reservations at 9:15 because that was all that was available. We walked in at 7:30 and were seated right away at a high top table in the bar area. Maura, our server was fantastic, so we stayed there and ordered dinner and watched the Olympics. (Why is Curling always on?) The food was great and the atmosphere was fun and the IPA's were delicious."

  • "I frequently have lunch and dinner at Iron Hill. The beer is good. I recently had the Bedotter and found it to be a very tasty Belgian Triple (9% ABV). The food selection and variety is always good. I love the chicken gumbo. the price is reasonable too. All in all - you can't go wrong at Iron Hill. After years of being in the dumps, Phoenixville is finally ALIVE again."

  • "It is such a burden to find restaurants that can safely accomodate a gluten sensitive diner. It is becoming more available but the "safety" factor is questionable at any restaurant. Iron Hill has a pretty decent gluten free menu and the menu didn't consist of a bunch of items from their regular menu that simply state_"order with out sauce or without roll or without vegetables. They actually had full gluten free dishes with sauces and dressings included. Nothing is worse than only having the option of a bland piece of grilled meat with nothing on it. So I thank them for that. The food itself was well done and had good flavor and I would certainly dine there in the future. They even had a couple of dessert options which is rare."

  • "Iron Hill is the best dining experience in Phoenixville. The food is fresh and well prepared. The service is friendly. The beer refreshing. What more can I say?"
    Dined on 1/17/2014
  • "we prefer fine dining but thought we would give it a try. food was surprisingly high quality and well prepared for a chain restaurant. they even offer a gluten-free menu which my wife requires for celiac. only negative is the noise level which at times was quite high. overall, however a good experience that we would recommend."
    Dined on 1/11/2014
  • "Upscale style, warm atmosphere, food good, beer great. A bit noisy, but with a full dining room and bar what else would you expect? An overcooked steak pushed my food rating from very good to good, otherwise all other dinners were very good."
    Dined on 1/11/2014
  • "I had gotten us 7:15 reservations but we still had to wait about 25 minutes. We had two kids with us so that made it sort of a bad experience. The food was really good though. The turkey burgers were great."

  • "Always love their pizzas with the barley crust, but tonight there was a special vegetable pizza that was fantastic! Also tried the Rhode Island calamari which both my husband and I enjoyed very much."
    Dined on 1/4/2014
  • "This restaurant is great for a family. The menu is huge and the food is really good. They even gave a very extensive kids menu, not just the typical chicken fingers and burgers. The adult menu is great and even has a section with lower calories. The beer is delicious."

  • "Iron Hill is one of our 'go to' local restaurants for a good, freshly prepared meal. There are always specials in addition to the regular menu. Service is always attentive and friendly. Although I always have a beer there, it's not our favorite and much prefer other local craft beer."

  • "We always think of Iron Hill first when getting together with friends. Good beer and a wide variety on the menu."

  • "We took my father in law to Iron Hill for his birthday. It has a large selection of basically anything you could imagine on the menu, so it can please all generations in your party. The food was good and served very quickly. Reserving the table definitely helped as the restaurant was pretty crowded. We had a great time!"
