Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant is a non-smoking environment, with smoking allowed in designated outdoor areas only, however cigar & pipe smoking is prohibited.   • "Enjoyed dinner at IHB with family. Great food. We shared the cheese platter and it paired most excellently with the Biere de Mars. A copper-colored French farmhouse style ale. Brewed with wheat, aromatic malts and a touch of orange peels for a smooth ale with complex flavors and aromas. I had the smokehouse burger with a salad. Simply delicious!!!! IHB has been consistent with their food and the beers are great.. We'll keep coming back!"

  • "I have eaten here several times and the food has always been decent and the beer is good. I made a reservation for 6 several hours ahead of time. Nothing was ready and we had to wait, possibly because they appeared to be understaffed. The hostess was standoffish and did not seem to appreciate us asking questions. I will go back for the beer bar area bit probably not for the restaurant."

  • "We always like coming to Iron Hill, sometimes I wish they had a location closer to us but lately we've noticed the food prices increasing and are a a little more or higher than they should be. $11.50 for four cheesesteak eggrolls, and $24.95 for a full rack of ribs. This is a bit much. I would come more often if they could bring these prices down without changing much. But I'd rather stay home and make these myself. I think the eggrolls should be $9.99 tops and the ribs $19.99 tops. Also, the growler prices are just NOT worth buying a growler or the refill price. That being said, the food was great, came out too hot to eat right away but I guess that's better than cold but still not worth the prices."

  • "We had a great time last night at Iron Hill. Our server was prompt but not hovering and very cheerful. She also was very helpful picking out one of the many drafts available. She recommended some items on the beer list and gave us a sample which was great because I ended up picking one and didn't have a whole beer that I didn't care for sitting there. The Ahi tuna was perfectly cooked and very tender. The greens on my salad were fresh and crunchy."

  • "Wnet for a friends bday celebration, food was terrific, it was a bit lo6d but we had a great time.. We had a wonderful waitress named Lulu who could not have been nicer to us, she allowed us to bring in our birthday cake and gave us plates forks and even offered us candles,super cute waitress and just an absolute treat!!!! We will definitely be going back! We had the asparagus tempura, delicious!!"

  • "We dined at the Iron Hill Brewery in North Wales with our son for his birthday. He picked the restaurant because he often eats at the Phoenixville site and says the food is always good and the pairings are spectacular. My son and I started with a beer and my wife had a glass of chardonnay. I had a chopped salad which was very good and my son and his mother had the beet salad which they raved about. For our main course I had the ahi tuna, my wife the scallops and my son the jaeger schnitzel. All 3 dishes were quite good and we wrapped up the meal with a piece of lemon pie and our son's piece included a birthday candle. Our server Ben was very attentive to our needs and very courteous and humorous. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening!"

  • "I was thrown off by the hostess piercings, (face piercings) and wasn't sure what type of place this was. After that, it had a huge menu, a little bulky, and lots to choose from , which fit everyone's needs. Overall great experience, and would def go again!"

  • "A night with friends for a birthday celebration turned into a big find, a chance to be King of the Hill at Iron Hill. An unexpected benefit to a night of good food (the Porterhouse was nuts!), good beer and good friends! Russell came out and personally delivered a welcome to the King of the Hill Club, along with my membership card and cool mug. I was immediately served my next Russian Imperial in a classy ceramic mug, that made the beer taste even better, if that's even possible! I'm already scheming for my next visit for a chance to be part of the Club and King for another night. Thanks Russell and Iron Hill Team."

However, you would think a place that charges $35+ for a steak could opt for cloth napkins instead the flimsy paper jobs I think they got at Walmart. Kick it up a notch Iron Hill."

He ordered the petite filet mignons and totally enjoyed it. Now we have a new restaurant that we can add to our current list of choices for when we opt to dine out locally, which is almost always. He hates to drive too far or into the city "just to grab a meal.""

  • "The food choices were varied, but heavy on chicken and meat, not the best for a pescetarian (no meat, but fish and seafood is fine). There are many house brewed beers to choose from as well as other drinks and wines by the glass. Did not look at bottled wine list. Food was good, though nothing extraordinary. Would not hesitate to return, but it wouldn't be my first choice. Service was excellent, the server even offered to let us try samples of a couple beers on a busy Saturday evening. They take reservations, which I would highly recommend on weekends."

  • "We went with 2 other couples to celebrate my husband's birthday at dinner. However, the six of us were placed in a very tight booth that appeared to be much more suited to 4 adults than to 6 adults. There were no other tables that would accomodate our party. There was nowhere to store our coats during the Polar Vortex and that made the booth impossible to sit at. We asked the waitress where we could put our coats, in order to be able to actually sit in the booth and she did stash them somewhere we could not see. The menus are enormous and that made our crowding even more pronounced. It was apparent that the age group was a younger, bar scene group, as it was noisy and we had difficulty conversing over the noise level. A disappointment."

  • "I don't live in this area but have to visit 1-2 times per year. Every time I do I make a trip to Iron Hill Brewery. The menu selection is second to none and I've never had a bad meal. This visit I was there for lunch and had the beet salad and crab soup. Both were very good. The service was also very good. A person in my party is on a gluten free diet and they offer an extensive gluten-free menu."

  • "After a disaster our first time eating at this restaurant, we gave it another try and I'm glad we did! Our server, Shawn E., was AWESOME! He had answers for everything and great recommendations.. esp with the beer selections. Its amazing how much of a difference great service can make!! We'll be back! Definitely recommend the Fajita Spiced Chicken Salad."

  • "Was seated right away & promptly greeted by our server. That was the end of the prompt service. After we ordered our food we didn't see our server again until it was brought out. My boyfriend had an empty root beer & was not offered or asked if he would like another. His steak (while ordered rare) was ice cold in the center. This problem was taken care of right away by a manager & when brought back out was very, very good. I had the ahi tuna salad which was exceptional. Would have ordered dessert but didn't want to wait around another 20 minutes for our server to return to take our order after looking over the menu. If we had adequate service this restaurant would have been a go to for us, but unfortunately I don't think we'll be returning."

  • "There was an idiot who took two talks so his 9 year old son could have a date for Valentine's Day. They each Sat on both sides of us and proceeded to yell over our heads at his dimwitted and poorly behaved son. The kid was actually throwing those snap pops that his "date" brought him. My problem is with management who did nothing to try and rectify the problem. The waitress was very apologetic and started that the manager was informed but did nothing. I dropped $100 on what felt like a night at Chuckie Cheese. It's the poor management for not getting control over this is what will prevent me from going back again. We have gone to this particular restaurant many times before. Never again."

  • "Went to Iron Hill for my birthday with my mom. I had the the brisket flatbread and the meatloaf. Everything was great. I wanted to go there because of their beer selection, but this was my third time going; the food is excellent too. The only complaint that I had was that we were seated right by these beautiful tall windows that looked out into the parking lot. Unfortunately, the table we were at was right by the To-Go spaces. So every time someone came to pick up their order, we got blinded. Very uncomfortable. It was a little bit loud in the bar area, but I can't complain about that since it was the night of the superbowl."

Did not enjoy the woman literally using the floor sweeper under out feet while we ate our meal. That can't wait until all diners leave? Also, why are paper napkins acceptable? Probably won't return for dinner. More of a very casual lunch spot."
