This was our first time at Iron Hill..it's was a girls night out. Myself and another friend had the grilled chicken and red quiona salad. We assumed it came on top of salad greens. It was at most 3/4 cup of quiona , 4 mandarin oranges, a few craisins and a small piece of chicken. All this for $11.50. We thought they accidently brought us an appetizer. Another friend got soup and salad and her salad was twice the size of ours and she got a breadstick. Meyers lemon pie was delicious. Not sure if we would venture back again..pricey for what you got.

Really liked this restaurant. The food was very good. The service was good as well. The waiter was attentive but not overly so. Both my friend and I had the crabcakes which were delicious. I also had the Kennett Square mushroom soup as a first course which was delicious! Nice ambiance; the only negative was the noise level was very high and was tough hearing each other talk and parking is a problem (not easy to find a spot really close) but, other than that, it was an enjoyable night.

We came in as a party of 7 for a family birthday dinner. When I confirmed the reservation, the restaurant asked for my preference of where we would like to be seated and if we needed any children's places set or gluten free menus. When we arrived our table was already set with menus and place settings. Our waiter was very well informed about the beers available and offered recommendations. The food came out in good time and was very tasty. If you are looking for a place to try and like beer, Iron Hill is a great place to try some new brews and enjoy a meal.

They have a very good menu. Food was very good. The only problem was that in early November with a chill outside, it was freezing inside with cold air blowing on us. They could do nothing about it. Looks like we will visit only during warmer months.

My wife and her family met at Iron Hill in North Wales for her birthday dinner. There was a group of 8 adults and our toddler. Everyone was seated quickly in a perfect u-shaped table in the corner, that accommodated the high chair in the center so he was able to talk to everyone! The beer was good, the appetizers were delicious and everyone was impressed with the menu and the quality of food. This isn't the kind of restaurant you go to for an ultra-high-end meal, but it hits the above-average level with reasonable price points for the food. There are also less expensive burger and small plate options for those that are on a budget. Overall I'm certain that we will be back!

Food, beer and service were great. Went on a Fri night and had a hard time hearing each other talk. No need for music when it is this loud. Pricing is a little high but everything was cooked perfectly so I didn't mind paying a little extra.

I formerly lived in Newark, DE from 1992 to 2002. Newark, De was the location of the original Iron Hill Brewery. It was without a doubt my favorite restaurant. Imagine my delight when I traveled on business to Horsham, PA and found there was an Iron Hill Brewery only 3 miles away from my hotel. My visit did not disappoint. The Iron Hill Brewery is a microbrewery that only serves their own beer. They have enough confidence in their own beer that they do not need to serve any other beers. Their confidence is well founded because their beer is GREAT! I enjoyed the Mushroom soup and the Blackened Catfish, both were excellent. I highly recommend the Iron Hill Brewery, no matter which location you might select.

My husband and I have dined at the North Wales Iron Hill multiple times. We finally joined the dining club they have, and we can't wait to keep eating here! The other night we were feeling like a homestyle meal, so we chose entrees from the favorites section. I had the pan seared chicken breasts with smashed potatoes and asparagus - all hot and freshly cooked, the potatoes were definitely homemade, and the asparagus was a vibrant green and cooked perfectly. My husband tried the meatloaf - full of flavor, a delicious tangy yet sweet ketchup topping, served with smashed potatoes and peas/carrots mix. We were so content. And the portions are huge! I had lunch for the next day at work. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant.

Our waitress Emma was excellent, smart, and knowledgeable about the beers and the menu, and when she was not available to bring out our food when ready, a colleague did so to keep it hot! It was however a bit noisy, but we could still keep up our conversation. We were warmly greeted when we entered which is always a plus. Great to make reservations online!

We consider the Iron Hills one of our go-to restaurants. We know the food will be great and the service is always excellent. My husband is a King of the Hill member so the benefits of that are nice too. My one complaint about ALL the Iron Hills is that they are just too cold.

We are a group that reunites about once a year and talks non stop to catch up on our lives. We opted for outside seating and the staff responded quickly with seating for us. Luckily, we were not inside since we were quite boisterous at times! Our waiter was incredible! Never said no and brought us whatever we wanted at various times with a smile and good humor! You may want to consider installing outside heat units because we did get chilly, but we were having way too much fun to complain!! Thanks so much...good food, good drinks, and great time!

We had 8:00 reservations, and were seated promptly, but our server took a long time to get to us and was clearly overloaded or in the weeds because all throughout the night he was not around much. When there, he was very friendly and apologetic, and he comped a round of drinks for us, so I feel he was probably a good server that was just too busy. The food was excellent, we had the meatloaf (superb), the chicken pot pie (tasty but undersalted and too soupy), and the pulled pork sandwich (also excellent). Beer was good but not outstanding. Noise level very high.

I have been to a few other locations for IHB in the past. This one in North Wales seems very similar which is not a bad thing. There is a consistency in the decor and menu selection that makes it a reliable choice. I had the seafood bisque, red-chile rubbed flat iron steak with a lime cilantro sauce along with baked mac & cheese and a trio of bell pepper and onion slices. For dessert I had the meyer lemon pie with fresh berries. I also ordered the voodoo shrimp appetizer(a bit spicy but tasty). They have fresh fruit flavored iced teas(I had the peach one). Obviously this establishment is best known for their craft beers but I am not a beer drinker at all. I would be happy to recommend this restaurant at any of their locations.

When we're spending almost $100 for a simple dinner, I expect better service. Our server was attentive in the beginning, but once we got our meal she was absent. I got the crab cake dinner and ask to take one of them home. We had to ask our server for it again when she finally brought our check. If you like a lot of carbs and salt this is the place to come. Not impressed with this location of Iron Hill. The one in Phoenixville is better.

Noise level incredibly high. Bartender didn't know how to make a scotch & water but got it right after 3 attempts. Cleanup of our section (which included sweeping the floor, banging the chairs & using salt & pepper shakers as a musical instrument started shortly after we received our appetizers. The only bright spot was our server Tiffany.

We've been coming to IHB for some time now and you can always enjoy a good steak here.. They are well seasoned, cooked to the temperature as ordered, and very savory.. Beers; I always stick with the Vienna Red, but they usually have a good selection of IPA's, ales, pilsners, lagers and speciality beers. With fall around the corner, I also enjoy the pig iron porter.. If I had a criticism; the cheese plates could be slightly larger...
