We had made a reservation for 745pm but our plans had changed unexpectedly and we were in media with our 3 week old baby way early. I called to see if they could fit us in early (2 hrs early!) and we had a mere 10 minute wait on a fully booked Saturday in November. Thanks iron hill! Also, Bob the brewer had an incredible imperial IPA on tap, "Real Boy", which we took home a growler of.

It's often difficult to find a place that offers good food choices whether you are into Paleo, Vegan, Vegetarian, Mediteranean, American, etc., but Iron Hill does just that. Add some great beer choices, again something good for everyone, great service, and fair prices, and you have one of my favorite spots.

We are frequent visitors to the Iron Hill and this was not one our best meals. Service was slow all night and food took much longer than expected, despite waitress telling us we were up "next". The chicken and asparagus dish was watered down in a soupy broth and the salads lacked flavor. The kids did like their pizzas but the overall wait had them struggling to enjoy the meal

My boyfriend and I had dinner and drinks here on a busy Saturday night. The server was incredible bringing over samples of all different beers he was very knowledgeable on the different types. We had the cheese steak egg rolls for apps and they were great. I ordered beef stroganoff which I just didn't enjoy, it wasn't poorly made it just wasn't for me. My boyfriend ordered the seafood potpie and just found it to be overwhelming with too much fish flavor. Maybe he had a different expectation. Our dessert, apple crumb, tasted as though it had been defrosted then microwaved. We liked the environment and beers so we would give it a second chance

We had reservations on a Friday night. The place was hopping and the beer was cold. Our server looked a bit tired or distracted, but we had no issues with him. Our food came as ordered. I love it when you can order a medium rare burger and it actually comes that way. With four of us enjoying our meals, root beer, and draft beer, we have nothing but praise.

Went here on a date last night and were seated at a nice table. The restaurant is definitely bustling, however we were able to hear one another in our booth and able to enjoy our time together and it still felt as though we had our own private space. Our waiter, James, was phenomenal in taking our drink and food order and ensuring that everything was prepared the way we wanted it and even had a couple of suggestions. Great service! Our burgers were cooked perfectly and tasted great and the nachos are always delicious as well! Great oktoberfest and pumpkin ale beers as well.

Went to Lunch with some friends. Their first time. Bad choice. The waitress was snippy and didn't seem like she wanted to be there. She made that abundantly clear when she said things like "what do you want?" and no one had a dessert menu to decide what they wanted. This is just one example. Unfortunately, it is not likely my friends will be going to Iron Hill and it will be a long time coming before I go again. I guess I really wasted my money on joining their King of the Hill rewards program. If that is how a table of people are treated than I really don't want to be part of the program.

We'd been to other Iron Hill Breweries, but we really loved this one! Again, we were in a group; this time 6 people. When we went to the one in Lancaster there were 10 of us. But, the service was fabulous. The food delicious. We were 4 who had never been to an Iron Hill and they really enjoyed everything. The diversity of the menu had something for everyone. The beer selection was great (we knew that), but others were drinking wine, and they to were delighted with the variety. A fun evening. It was mobbed, and the group was lively, but it wasn't so loud we couldn't hear eachother talk. 5 stars

What a great day - our 7 month old grand-daughter experience her first "dining out" experience at Iron Hill on Saturday after the Media Halloween Parade. It became quickly obvious that her entertainment was going to center on all the spoons on the table. Our cheerful waiter sensed the situation perfectly and provided us an additional 5 spoons to keep her amused. The fact that we (her parents and grandparents) got to enjoy a great lunch with great food was awesome too!

The food was excellent as always. Perfectly prepared and plated. My wife and I have come been coming here for over a decade and I can't recall a visit that we didn't get great service and this visit wasn't any different. Johnny was fantastic. Very attentive. But the real gem is the beer. Their recipes are always unique and full of flavor. Definitely worth a visit (or a hundred).

Been here a couple of times and went back reluctently for my daughter's birthday. They were happy with their salads and beer. I was not. Ordered off the "Octoberfest Menu" the schnitzel dish. What I got was a disgrace. Although the description was mouth watering, the meal was pathetic. Literally small amount of green beans, one table spoon of noodles, and two very very small pieces of chicken, one which looked broken apart. All of this with no salad, no bread for only $17.50!?!?!?!?!?! I won't be back and have told many people about it. If you want beer, go there,,if you want a good meal,,,there's 20 other good restaurants in Media. It also amazed me that after making the reservation for 6:30, we got seated at 6:50.

Our party of four had a reservation at 5:30 and lingered over appetizers, drinks, dinner until almost 9:00 pm. Our server was gracious, never indicating that it was a busy Friday evening and that another party could have been seated within our time frame. We tipped him generously for his graciousness - his name was Michael and he's a true gentleman.

Okay for happy hour and bar food, but don't let the appearance of a restaurant fool you into thinking its more than a nice looking brewery. I could elaborate on the embarrassment of a meal presented to my wife and the excessive time it took the staff to correct it, but I believe my opening sentence says enough.

Iron Hill is one of our favorite spots, for a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere, good, reasonably priced food, and great service! We were seated at a large round table, which made our group of 8 be able to talk all around the table. The noise can get loud, but we were in a back room, farther from the lively bar, which helped.

This is a good time of the year for beer selection and menu options. The huhnerschnitzel is delicious. It has a genuine German taste with the noodles and haricots verts. Everything served at the right temperature, which three or four years ago was often an issue. Nice variety of German style beer. Only wish they would have had a cask conditioned ale, for first Friday of the month.
