A word from Iron Bridge Wine Company - Warrenton
This award winning restaurant, wine bar, and wine shop is "Fun dining...not fine dining!" The casual relaxed atmosphere and friendly service coupled with an ever changing menu and wine selection of "by the glass" and bottles is a Hunt Country gem. A rooftop deck and Enoteca lounge provide for great views and self guided tastings. Named one of Washington Post Magazine and Northern Virginia Magazines "50 Best" restaurants is also a perennial "best value" award winner. With space for private functions and over 125 seats on three different floors, the view, menu, and wines are ever changing.

I'm so pleased I decided to try this restaurant again. The menu has changed and the eggplant parmigiana over housemade pasta was delicious and for pasta.. it wasn't too heavy! delicious! Crab cakes were delicious and soup was very good (soup came out a bit cold though..) Very impressed with the new additions to the menu. Staff has always been very good, and pleasant and continue to be so consistently. Overall very pleased with our dining experience and will definitely be back!

I must say that the lamb chops were wonderful and beautifully presented. Our waiter was most helpful in reviewing the menu and was very personable. My one complaint was that our table was squeezed way too close to the next table and it became very awkward for both couples to have a conversation that neither could not help overhear. Definitely not a restaurant for an intimate date. Overall a fun and vibrant restaurant in Warrenton.

Enjoyed the food. Nice atmosphere - located in a refurbished stone building. We went early so we were the only ones in the restaurant other than a few patrons at the bar. It was a slow night. I would go again. It's a place that you go to with a few friends and enjoy wine.

We had a reservation for four and ended up waiting about 45 minutes (which I understand to be unusual, but this was during Christmas week). As a result, and quite unexpectedly, they gave us a break on our final bill. The food was outstanding, tableside service excellent, wine selection superb, and overall experience very, very satisfying. Will definitely go there again!

This was our first time to this local establishment based on a recommendation of a friend. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, service and wine. Of note: we had been wine tasting during the day and wanted to bring a particular bottle of wine we had tasted but the winery was out. We mentioned this to the waitress and she came back with one of those bottles in the restaurant's private reserve.

  • The self service wine bar

The self service wine bar is awesome. You basically get what functions like a debit card loaded with whatever amount you specify to your server. Then just use the wine dispenser which has like 10-12 reds and whites each with variable 3, 6, and 9 oz serving sized. A great way to sample wine that is kept fresh which you can't say about most places that serve by the glass. Food is also very good. I had the BBQ meatloaf (their specialty) which was great. Going back tomorrow night for my b-day!

Iron Bridge is one of the only restaurants with an energetic ambience in Warrenton. Unfortunately the food has much to be desired. Sometimes you get lucky and find good food and ambience..but the menu changes too often.. Filet mignon and lobster have been sold out the last two times I was there.
