Diner Reviews
  • "It is sad when a $$$ Steakhouse can't properly cook a Porterhouse. And, the manager tells you that because "it was thick, it cannot be cooked evenly". "If you wanted it to be Medium Rare then you should have ordered it Rare. "the meat closest to the bone will be rarest and the area furthest away will cooked medium". Steak was medium rare at the bone,chalk-like consistency, well done at the ends and the filet was well done. Management was gracious enough to provide a mini desert. as the waiter who was EXCELLENT-Danny, announced "courtesy of Management" and apologized. In fairness, they did offer to replace the dinner which meant eating after the others were done. NOT FOR A CONNOISSEUR. Nickname was not my choice for this review"

  • "Excellent food and service. The bone in filet is the best I've ever eaten cooked to perfection. The wine list is excellent. Favorite restaurant to dine."

  • "1st time visit for us on my wife's birthday. I was pleasantly surprised when we walked in and saw the soft, elegant ambiance, great food smells and finely appointed dining set-ups. All of the service assistants were gracious and of good cheer. Our primary waiter made the evening very enjoyable. We started off with a crab cake appetizer which was delicious. Then, I ordered the beef wellington which was the best I have had in years. My wife enjoyed the mustard glazed salmon. My complements to the chef! We finished the evening with a tasty desert sampler. We look forward to returning and bringing guests with us the next time we visit the 5 star restaurant."

  • "I decided to give this restaurant a second chance after about 4 years. This time around the food was much better but the prices were ridiculously high for what you get and where it's located "

  • "We had a wonderful meal prepared just how we ordered and the service was great. Very attentive and yet not intrusive."

  • "This was a return visit. Our initial experience was that this was a special place for special occasions. Our return visit 2 days ago could not have been more disappointing except for the service and hostess. First the good; the service could not have been better. The wait staff was attentive without being annoying. Their concern for diners having a positive experience was evident. The hostess is a delightful person who makes you feel special upon arrival. Now the bad; the 2 steaks ordered at our table were burnt, the salads tasted like something prepared at your local Publix and the dessert was on a par just below Costco. We frankly felt like this was a waste of a lot of money. Based on our experience we will not be going back."

  • "Got to thei restaurant on time, our table wasn't ready. We had to wait. After we were seated had to request for a waiter. We were seated for a good 15 minutes before he showed up. Everything was rushed, waiters were practically running. My steak was over cooked , I was never asked how the meat was. Not what I expected. For the price is not worth it, stay home and have a nice pizza. I was so dissapointed that the following night we went to Ruth Chris A+ great experience!"

  • "Modeled after Chops or Ruth's, Irelands is set up the same way. They provide an intimate dining experience in a space limited property that emphasizes the quality of their food. You will find the service good and prices moderate. We would recommend and would return if in the area if we were looking for a meal experience beyond casual dining."

  • "The food was amazing, service was great till it got busy, then it took 20min to get the check; but the wait staff was very pleasant . Plan on $100.00 a person easy, the décor was ok, ,BUT what ruins the whole thing is with even only a FEW people dining it IS so SO SO LOUD that you Can't even have a conversation with the person right next to you. But the food was good."

  • "This is the very first time I have written a review of a restaurant ... on any website. My wife and I had dinner at Ireland's on Friday 1/31/14 and everything about it was exceptional. I have had meals at many fine restaurants, including Keens and Peter Luger's in New York City, Charlie Trotter's in Chicago and Galatiore's in New Orleans, and the overall experience at Ireland's was superb."

  • "The food was incredibly good. The service was spectacular. The wine list excellent. Overall it was a wonderful, relaxing dining experience."

  • "We had reservations for 7 pm and got right in. Waiter had a few recommendations and was attentive but not overly so. Wanted petite filet prepared medium which varies wildly depending on restaurant. He said it would be pink in center but not red. He was accurate and the filet was sumptious. My husband had the salmon which was prepared with a tomato sauce which was a bit strange. However, he said the salmon was excellent even though he did not care for the sauce. Had a lovely dining experience. Only thing we did not like was our table. There was plenty of room in other areas, which later filled but our table was too small. Should have asked to move. Our own fault."

  • "Ireland's is our go-to restuarant whenever we want an A-plus dining experience. The staff is warm and welcoming and the food is delicious. The Buffalo filet was tender and favorable. The Truffle mac and cheese (or the lobster mac and cheese) seemed to appear on every table! Yummy! From starters to desserts you just can't make a wrong choice. Simply put yourselves in General Manager, Enrique Lopez' hands and he'll treat each guest like family!!"

  • "My wife and I do not eat at hotel restaurants - typically they are overpriced and mediocre. But Ireland's was a real treat. We were referred to Ireland's by friends of ours - and went there last Friday for our anniversary dinner. The restaurant is tucked away in the back corner, and you do have to walk through the lobby and the main hotel restaurant to get to it, but ambiance is nice and quiet. We had 7:30pm reservations, and they were honored. One suggestion: larger parties tend to be seated "upstairs" behind the bar, smaller parties are in front and to the side of the bar - so if you are looking for quieter meal make sure you ask for the lower seating area. Get the spinellus if you area rib eye person. Lobster fries to die for!"

  • "My significant other and I visited Ireland's in April while on vacation. Unfortunately, a large function was being held near the spa area on the night we were dining. The service in the restaurant suffered greatly. What a disappointment. . . it took hours to be served. The steaks were dry. The waiters disappeared. It was extremely disappointing. This experience was totally different. We were greeted immediately. . . waited on like royalty. . . served promptly. . . the food was awesome. It was truly an evening we thoroughly enjoyed. We are vacationing again in February and will definitely go back to Ireland's."

  • "The Food and Service were great at this quaint steakhouse. The Fillet was cooked just right and the king salmon was to die for. We dined on Friday night and the place was not filled to capacity and we were seated right away when we arrived."

  • "We had to move to an "outside" table in order to hear ourselves think! It is a small restaurant with no cushioning for sound and the bar is right next to the tables. With a large crowd at the bar, forget talking!"

  • "Outstanding food and service.... It was a little lound in there but that was due to a large group having dinner one table over and i cant fault them for having a good time. I will be returning soon for another great meal."

  • "This was my second time and my wife's first. We split a bone in ribeye which was cooked to order. I do think they use a bit too much salt for our taste, something I'll try to get them to cut back on next time. We shared the shrimp and empanadas which were quite tasty and different. Shared some sides of Lobster Fries, also very different. A bottle of Chateau St Jean Cabernet was also an excellent choice. The deserts were on them, a trio of Cheesecake, Creme Brulee and Chocolate Mousse. We don't go out that often so when we do we want to really enjoy ourselves. Irelands appears to be holding their food quality, choices and service to a very high level. Easily one of the best restaurants in Weston in our opinion."

  • "Food and service was very good but table was next to kitchen and door opening and closing constantly. The table was very dark except for 1seat under overhead light. The wine list is good but wine prices were very expensive compared to other restaurants and wine stores."

  • "The quality of the steak was exceptional. The sides are large. One side can feed 3 people easily. We ordered 3 sides and as there were only 2 of us we took them home! The server knew all about the cuts of meat and the ingredients on the sides. I would say it was definitely value for money. It was excellent and I would highly recommend it as a steakhouse ."

  • "Nice dinner Excelent service. Good food. Nice and romantic place."
    Dined on 8/3/2013
  • "After reading all the positive reviews I felt the dining experience would be fail proof. The service is fantastic, the salads, sides and appetizers were also very good, bread worth noting as well! But the steaks were dry, both my friend and I ordered the filet and they were not cooked as ordered first off. First one came out over cooked and was dry, ordered the second rare with a warm center, it came out correct but for some strange reason was still dry. It's worth trying for something different but a little out of the way for an okay dinner. Still can't compete with Capital Grille, Ruth Chris, or Morton's."

  • "Server spent all his time on a larger table with six or seven people as they were ordering tons of plates and liquor and we only had a budget for our own plates and water. We were not recognized for our anniversary although it was on the reservation. The food was very good but I thought not mentioning the anniversary (even if dessert wouldn't be given) was pretty bad."

  • "Came to Ireland's for anniversary with my wife. We are both food lovers and we were not dissapointed. Service was outstanding and not intrusive. Server was well versed with the menu and gave excellent suggestions. Every course was excellent. Best item was the crab and red pepper soup which was served in two bowls that you mixed as you ate. Great wine menu that was priced well."
