Welcome to Ira's Seaside Grill. We are inside the Historic Gibson Inn built in 1907. Come enjoy Chef Ira's creative cuisine featuring the bounty of Apalachicola bay. We feature local seafood, prime steaks, creative salads and wonderful desserts. Try our grilled grouper with mango habanero barbeque sauce, or tuna topped with smoked tomato caper sauce. Be sure to try the poblano pepper cheesecake or shitake mushroom spring rolls.
of course after dinner a piece of key lime pie.
Our wine list features wine from all over the world, and you will find something you will enjoy at every price point.

    The food was incredible and the service outstanding. My husband and I really needed a weekend away and had stayed at the Gibson Inn on a previous visit to Apalachicola. This meal was just what the doctor ordered...relaxing, unhurried, and fabulous!

    Fresh creative renditions of new southern coastal cuisine in "farm and bay to table" fashion with local ingredients served at their best. From appetizers through deserts our entire party from teenagers to older foodies thoroughly enjoyed the dinner and the evening. From the luscious watermelon with balsamic salad to a delightfully piquant fresh tomato and garlic bathed shrimp with grit cakes, to killer key lime pie to mention a few of the many dishes our group of 11 enjoyed. Wine list though limited in size is excellent in range quality and value. Service is personable and excellent in the setting of the dining room of a classic old southern inn. Definitely worth a drive to enjoy the hospitality and excellence of Chef Ira and his crew.

    Very good salads. Excellent duck entrée with very nicely prepared potatoes and asparagus (accompanying duck skin crisps needed more flavor.) Well-grilled and flavorful grouper and shrimp combo. Excellent house prepared key lime pie; properly quite tart. Wine list is not extensive, but is well balanced and shows good personal thought and taste.

    Food was amazing. My mother had shrimp and grits and I had the seafood pasta. Both were beautifully prepared and presented. Service was slow, especially given the number of wait staff and how quiet the restaurant was, but the food was so great, it was easy to overlook.

    We chose this restaurant for my mothers birthday. We were spending Easter weekend at st George island and chose our restaurants from tripadvisor reviews. This restaurant was truly fabulous. The chef is incredible - every appetizer, main course, salad and dessert was sooo good. A great find for foodies like us - highly recommend!
