Wait staff was excellent.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Mother's Day dinner!We took our mothers here for Mother's Day and it was very special. Great atmosphere and very good wine list. The food is all seasonal and a majority is local; the menu was totally different from the last time we came here. It was a nice surprise. It's beautiful inside. The waiter was attentive, but did not interrupt our table discussions, helped with selections and our meals were fantastic. I had the hanger steak and requested the Brussels sprouts instead of fries and the chef accommodated the request - the combination was amazing. My companion and I like to try new restaurants and new flavors, so we tend to share bites with each other. The wait staff was knowledgeable and friendly and able to make suggestions. Our selections included the Beet Terrine starter, house salad, fish of the day (flounder), veal porterhouse and strawberry custard for dessert. Paired with a nice Riesling and coffee. i wasn't a fan of the polenta, which tasted like it was fired in butter
side veggies also too buttery for me

The atmosphere and service are great, and the food is spectacular - from the high-end hamburger to the duck or daily specials. I had the special - red snapper with a fantastic sauce, sliced fingerling potatoes and some greens. It was amazing! So fresh and melted in my mouth. The bananas foster bread pudding with marshmallow ice cream was amazing. I had a hard time making a reservation online. I tried several times but never felt successful. Our recent lunch visit was AWESOME!!! The Catfish and Grits reminded me of back home in New Orleans; and that Extra-Spicy Bloody Mary was the BEST I have had in Memphis!!!
