Rosiers works with farmer Cindy Nawieshiak of Freedom Organix farm in Harvard, Illinois for a majority of the restaurant's produce including rare and unique ingredients grown specifically for inovasi. Dishes on the menu include a modern twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich with Carr Valley Benedictine cheese and a smidge of crispy mortadella; the Grilled Cook's Ranch Bison sustainably raised in Wolcottsville, IN; and our version of a traditional casserole made with organic Carolina rice, day caught sustainable haddock, organic tomatoes, cheese, and milk. Inovasi continues to innovate and the new menu is vast improvement over recent ones in terms of ease of use and clarity. Some new dishes are stunners, like the shrimp and grits - so many others do it and it's just meh, but this version has really flavorful (not just butter-doused) perfectly textured grits with peppery gravy and shrimp - not just for N'Awlins fans. Also loved the whole stuffed calamari with chorizo. Interesting craft cocktails and wonderful wine list with descriptions that actually describe. All of the service is good, but Maria surpasses all expectations of waitstaff, amywhere. Atmosphere still casual but elegant, but much less noisy than in past - a destination restaurant that city-goers have to try.

Went on a quiet Thursday night. Loved the innovative menu. The waitress was superb, attentive, but not overbearing. Loved that sharing plates was encouraged and made so easy. We appreciate the respect for the local food movement and the taste that brought to the dishes. We will definitely return, hopefully with another couple so we get to taste even more dishes!

Inovasi has burger night every tuesday night. the portions of the non-burger dishes tend to be small and very upscale. but the burgers are large and delicious, and there is a changing selection of about 7 different burgers and a number of outstanding beers to go along with the food. Burger Tuesdays at Inovasi are a great deal.

I chose Inovasi for my birthday dinner because they partner with local farmers for many of their dishes. The food was amazing. We were going to try their tasting menu, but decided we couldn't finish it, so we went with five plates for the two of us and it was plenty. The welcome note at the table was particularly impressive. We will be back, but next time with a few friends.
