If you often book restaurant reservations on behalf of others, select the "Administrative Professional" option when you join OpenTable. This will enable you to accrue Dining Rewards Points for reservations you make for others.
Rewards for Every Reservation
What are Dining Reward Points?
For every restaurant reservation you make on OpenTable -- for yourself, a colleague, or someone else -- you'll earn Dining Rewards Points which you can redeem for Dining Cheques. Dining Cheques can be used at any OpenTable restaurant nationwide. Find out more about our Dining Rewards Program.
What is a diner profile?
After registering as an OpenTable user, you can create diner profiles for people for whom you make restaurant
reservations. You can always add diners, edit profiles or remove names from your account at a later date.
How do I know that restaurants receive the reservations I make on OpenTable?
The OpenTable website is directly connected to thousands of computerized reservation systems at OpenTable restaurants. Search results reflect actual, "real-time" availability, and reservations are immediately recorded in the restaurant’s OpenTable system.
How can I participate if I've already signed up for OpenTable?
If you already have a standard OpenTable account but would like an Administrative Professional account, log in to your account and select My Profile. Below your name you will have an option to select "I am an administrative professional who books reservations for others". Select this option and then select "Update Profile" to confirm the change.
