Field Operations Specialist (London, UK) DescriptionReporting to the Operations Manager, the Field Operations Specialist assumes responsibility for performing both the technical and training related aspects of the product implementation process and continued support for all OpenTable products. Responsibilities- Perform all services for a restaurant installation
- Provide initial and follow-up training and technical consulting to OpenTable system users
- Troubleshoot with restaurant sites to solve any OpenTable system or Internet connectivity problems
- Share evening and weekend support duties
- Conduct in-house training seminars for restaurant customers
- Provide feedback to Product Management for product enhancements
- Act as a technical reference for the sales team
- Travel up to 50%
Desired Experience- 1-3 years technical experience with Internet, computers/printers servicing & troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Windows NT, 2000, XP, NT networks, TCP/IP, and DSL
- Excellent organizational and planning skills: task prioritization, effective time management
- Strong writing, presentation and informal communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Attitude that embraces continuous process improvement
- Ability to understand issues and solve problems in a timely manner
- Comfortable working independently under limited supervision in an unstructured environment

Country Operations Manager (Frankfurt, Germany) DescriptionThe Country Operations Manager is ultimately responsible for efficiently meeting the goals of the Operations team. S/he will work with the Director of European Operations to define metrics and assure his/her team has the necessary resources to complete these tasks. S/he will provide training, supervision, coaching and ongoing feedback to the Operations staff. S/he will liaise between the Operations and Sales departments, as well as represent the local Operations team to the greater European and global company. S/he will also drive the development and improvement of all Operations functions. Responsibilities- Meet the operational goals of the market in terms of new installations, CRM visits, retention, weblinks, support, pre-install work and miscellaneous projects
- Train and mentor Ops team (PC, CRM and FOS) on all aspects of their job and provide regular feedback
- Work with Director of European Operations to define country goals
- Ensure install quality through monthly QA analysis and shadowing
- Ensure CRM quality through regular coaching and shadowing
- Act as a resource for local sales team for pre-sales support including prospect visits
- Work with internal team and procurement person to maintain installation equipment forecast and equipment delivery
- Drive initiatives to improve processes that increase productivity, quality and service
- Ensure proper month-end billing information is submitted timely and correctly to the accountants
- Act as an internal escalation point for all restaurant issues and as an external escalation point for severe restaurant issues
Requirements• 4-5 years technical experience with Internet, computers/printers servicing & troubleshooting • Knowledge of Windows 2000, XP, NT networks, TCP/IP, DSL, and other forms of Internet connectivity • Ability to manage, train and coach staff in building technical, customer service and administrative skills • 2-3 years experience managing a team • Demonstrated customer service bias and an attitude that embraces process improvement • Comfortable working independently under limited supervision in an unstructured environment • Comfortable with variable working hours based on customer needs (e.g. pager duty/on call) • Demonstrated ability to perform well under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines • Proven ability to work across many departments to solve problems and achieve results • Excellent organizational and planning skills: task prioritization, effective time management, working with minimal direct supervision • Strong writing, presentation and informal communication skills • Familiarity with OpenTable applications highly desirable • BA/BS Degree preferred • Up to 50% travel primarily within Germany with occasional trips to the UK and US • Bilingual (English and German) or the ability to learn German
