Industrielthe kale salad is amazing!the kale salad is amazing! was somewhat underwhelmed by the pulled pork sandwich. servers were very attentive and the decor is phenomenal. perfect for urban farm cuisine!5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Addition to Downtown DiningWe love going to Industriel - took friends Friday night and they loved it as well. Service is always attentive and friendly, food is delicious, and to top it off it's a great value for what you get. Sometimes specials are priced much higher than the menu price, so be aware of that. However, the whole Sea Bream that I had the other night was really good. The roasted half chicken served in an iron pot looked really good as well - can't wait to try next time. We keep going back!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat FindWe took my son and his girlfriend to dinner to celebrate graduation from USC. We also met her parents for the first time as they joined us. It was the perfect place for us to go! Great food, efficient service, and it was easy to have a conversation without yelling. We all agreed we made a great "find" and would definitely return!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMFinally a restaurant thatFinally a restaurant that doesn't serve massive portions. The crispy egg was unique and very tasty. Rabbit rillette on the game board was fantastic as well. Give it a try.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMFun decorFood was reasonably priced. I enjoyed the duck confit skillet. Mom enjoyed the celebration for her.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious!Went to Industriel for the first time on Mother's Day. All food selections were delicious, from the Kale Salad to the home-cured bacon to the French Toast made from homemade bread. We live in SB and our daughter lives in LA...we will be back!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMOur first experience - choseOur first experience - chose because in proximity to Disney Hall. Exterior understated - in fact we had to look twice to identify the establishment. Luckily we found an on street meter parking (I don't know where we could have parked otherwise). The interior was surprisingly upscale and modern. We dined on the second floor - amongst comfortable couch and arm chair seating. Servers were unobtrusive and caring. Provencal farm cooking - we were in Provence - but nothing like this! Excellent.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing! We loved everything we had...from the kale salad to the branzino. But the gnocchi appetizer was especially heavenly. And I will be trying to recreate it at home (unsuccessfully, I'm sure) as I cannot stop thinking about it! Service was also excellent. Our server had excellent recommendations across all categories, was warm and friendly and checked back with us often. Five stars!5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMA perfect sensory experienceA perfect sensory experience in every way. Cool & kitschy two-story affair w/ lots of light and open floor plan. Exquisite cuisine served by friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful vibe with greatWonderful vibe with great decor and arty-space! Menu was brief but diverse, our group of four ordered about 8 plates- reasonable prices for high quality food- yummy Duck Cassoulet & hanger steak and some very tasty smoked meats and duck-bacon were particularly memorable...nice bottle of California Rhone-style wine was a treat. I'll be back!4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMFrench done right!Cute little spot in DTLA right in the financial district with great french food, made modern and fit for anyone. Tried a lovely fish, baked brie, kale salad. Farm egg is to die for.4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMTry something new!Try something new, that was our goal and Industriel fit the bill. Our food was excellent and interesting, the menu seems to have been slightly adjusted since previous LA Times reviews and we found the choices/combinations to be interesting but not crazy. My kale salad was fabulous, my friend loved her salmon. My Manhattan was an excellent cocktail with a subtle twist. The upstairs decor is fun! - cozy, 1920s speak-easy ambience. Yes, the decor is a little mixed up but interesting. Ask for a table upstairs near a window for a more romantic spot. Downstairs looked interesting too. Service excellent, friendly, knowledgeable. I will definitely go again. I think this might also be a good spot to stop by for a glass of wine.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place. I loved theGreat place. I loved the food and atmosphere but the portions were on the smaller side for the price you pay.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMA fresh and wonderful takeA fresh and wonderful take on fine dining in a casual vibe. Kale salad is not to be missed by kale fans. Mussels like butter. Great wine selections by the glass. Crafted cocktails looked intriguing.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMSpace was beautiful serviceSpace was beautiful service was very professional and food was delicious4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous food, drinks and decorThe food and drinks at Industriel were amazing. The decor was almost as wonderful as the food. They offered very unique dishes and cocktails which is pretty hard to find these days. If they did offer something trendy like beets or pork belly, the preparation and accompaniments were different than any I've seen. Very cool. It was a very quiet night but I would have loved it even more with a touch more bustle.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMLove the food. 3rd time here.Love the food. 3rd time here. Doesn't disappoint. Everyone I've introduced to Industriel has been delight.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious food in a cute spotDelicious food in a cute spot downtown. The kale salad is beyond amazing. The bread is perfection.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMThe chairs upstair look niceThe chairs upstair look nice but are too low for dining comfortably.3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMFound Industriel on OpentableFound Industriel on Opentable when I was looking for a restaurant for brunch prior to going to a matinee at the Music Center. I read the favorable reviews and decided to book it. What a treat! The space is very cool. Contemporary with touches of early 20th century Americana. Our server was charming and very helpful. The food was delicious. I had the Duck, Duck, Goose & a bloody mary both of which were absolutely decadent. Can't wait to go back and try it for dinner. My only complaint is that they don't use the Music Center shuttle service so I needed to park my car twice. Other than that I highly recommend it.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMthe food was great. everyonethe food was great. everyone at the table enjoyed the entrees. the wine director is amazing. one of the best in la. I enjoyed my Cornucopia Chopped salad and grilled shrimp quite a lot. My friend was not enthusiastic about her pork loin.
Great ambiance and service. I'll go back to try other things on the menu, except the pork loin. :)3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMLove Industriel. I have beenLove Industriel. I have been a supporter since they opened.
Would love to see more non-meat choices3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMA fine "new" establishmentA fine "new" establishment in downtown! A different menu, I like the variety of foods, and the prices are FANTASTIC.
