The food was great up until the
point a work colleague found hair in her food from the buffet food. Destroyed my appetite after that. They offered to remove her meal from the bill, but unfortunately, I can't go there again."

The restaurant was relatively
empty so we were pretty surprised when our appetizers came out cold - even more surprised when the entrees came out lukewarm - the salmon dish I had was not even marinated - just cooked, left sitting to cool and then some weird sauce poured over it. Extremely disappointing."

average indian food, rapid service
but not as expected Nice decor"

The food and service were great. I
can not find anything to fault."

Indian food is not my favorite so
I am not a valuable source of information here. The salmon was fine. "

I had been here a few years ago.
The food was much better and also the service I went with another friend, we each had 2 tapa size dishes and a salad each and we were more than full. Would definitely come back sooner."

For many years Indique Heights
consistently has been an excellent restaurant and a great place for families, visitors, or business patrons. The excellent food is offered as small plates, full entrees, or a combination of both. We had an assortment of small plates including a bowl of wonderful mussels in a nice broth, a crab roll (creatively done), samosas, and two different, freshly made breads (one roti and one with onions). My dinner partner ordered a martini that she enjoyed. I had two splashes of wine (one white and one red) that were very good. The option of ordering two small glasses of wine rather than one large one offers the diner the opportunity to have different wines with different courses. The ambience is very pleasant."

A very good Indian restaurant!
Don't be put off by the unusual location -- off of an office building lobby above a bus station. The food is very good and the service was excellent. If we lived in the area we'd be back again soon."

The samosas and everything was
perfect! Tried new things and everything was wonderful-service was good despite 2 weddings at the same time!"

A favorite place to dine This
time was no different"

On a recent Saturday night, we
arrived 20 minutes late and they were gracious and welcoming. We sat outside on the deck and were given pillows to be more comfortable at our table. The wait staff was great and we had the most delicious Indian cuisine and great wine. From appetizers to the entrees, everything exceeded our expectations. The evening was lovely and the outside seating was perfect. We can't wait to go back!"

After a recent trip to India, we
were eager to re-live some of our culinary experiences. We have sampled several of the DC-area Indian restaurants in the past, but we found Indique Heights to be our new favorite. The food is a perfect combination of genuine and just spicy enough to be delicious without a need for fire extinguishers. I recommend it highly. "

Very good Indian food, different
selections that were very nicely presented. We went for dinner as a couple based on a recommendation of a friend. We were introduced to different selections that we had known and were not disappointed! Also décor is very nice. Food was very good and tasty and presented in a modern decorative fashion. Service was very good as well. Definitely worth the drive from Baltimore."

The food as always was wonderful.
Buffet has a varied selection with many great flavors. It ism deal for the price and food quality. The service as usual was terrible. The servers during the buffet are nowhere to be seen. After you select the buffet, they vanish and you practically have to beg for a drink. "

There were four of us who had a
late dinner on a week night. The restaurant was not crowded but there was a very loud group in a private dining room that made conversation difficult. Luckily, the waitress put us at a new table that was quieter. The food was very good and the minidosas were a great appetizer."

We had a lovely birthday
celebration. The food was delicious but the service was inconsistant. Our waitress did not know the menu very well, had to be reminded to bring things and brought the bill before the birthday dessert. She then had to exchange the bill because apparently at this restaurant you get charged for it. This whole exchange distracted us a bit from the celebration. However the overall food experiences was excellent."
Dined on 4/26/2014
All four of us like the food, and
there was enough for me to take some home. The only downside was the noise level; it made it hard to talk across a small table."
Dined on 4/5/2014
This is a fairly attractive
restaurant decked out in classic Indian style decor, although the furnishings seem a bit old and tired, and maybe needs more frequent cleaning, as the dining room had a rather musty and damp smell the evening we were there. Food is ok, not exceptional but meets expectations. Service quite attentive. Dining room not too noisy (when about three fourth full)."

I am a frequent visitor to this
restaurant. The food is great, service is impeccable and the ambience is wonderful. They even offer parking for $3 on weekdays and $4 on weekends. This is great place to bring guests/visitors and also have social gatherings."

Ate at Indique Heights after
purchasing a Groupon. We love a good curry so decided to try. The restaurant is fairly large but it feels a bit dated with smudges all over the walls and chairs with tired fabric. Was 1/2 full on a Wednesday night at around 8 pm. We ordered a vegetarian thali and a chicken dish. Overall food was ok -- not great but nothing to complain about either. However, the service was abysmal. Our server was sullen, brought out the wrong drink order and as soon as our food arrived he positively ignored us. We had to wait ages for the check and he even passed right by our table at one point -- not to check in with us, but to push in a chair on another empty table! We'll not be returning here."
Dined on 4/2/2014
I havew to say that I wasn't
overly thrilled with our experience the other night. We started with the vegetable samosa, and we received ONE samosa. It was good, but not worth the price to split between two people. The mulligatawny soup was excellent, and the garlic naan was good (although, not garlicky enough for my liking). I was a bit disappointed in my lamb dish. The sauce was excellent, but the meat pieces had a lot of fat and gristle. The biggest disappointment, though, was our service. While the tables around us seemed to be well attended by their servers, ours took our order and then wasn't seen again. Others brought us our food. We had to flag the manager down to get our check."

just an overall great place. the
food was nice no issues. the desert was great! i asked if they can do a surprise for my girlfriend. It was her birthday and they sang and brought out a nice dessert for her. just overall great! will recommend to all.than"
Dined on 3/29/2014
The dishes were delicious,
especially the dal and okra, and the Naan. Server was courteous and patient with 4 rather loud ladies and evening in general was v. enjoyable."
Dined on 3/28/2014
Overall it was very good food and
dining experience. However the size of the appetizers should be beefed up slightly. The lamb roganjosh flavor needs some working on and lastly there should be some additional focus in seafood and fish dishes. The fried tilapia was blandish. Must add that the waiter provided very good service."
Dined on 3/28/2014
The place is nice and very
convenient. Food is always good, not innovative."
Dined on 3/27/2014
This is a comfortable but not
memorable restaurant in a tony part of DC. It is a bit odd to take an outdoor escalator to a restaurant that is sandwiched between two slabs of concrete (floor and ceiling). The decor conveys India, we were greeted quickly and taken to our table. The menu offerings were standard Indian fare, and enjoyable but certainly not the best I have ever eaten. The place was quiet, the service adequate. The cocktails and food were delivered quickly, but the water glasses weren't refilled until requested, and the waiter discarded the uneaten portion of the main course while boxing the rice for me. Fortunately, I found this funny only because the food was not something that I was looking forward to eating later."
Dined on 3/25/2014
We enjoyed a relaxing dinner with
delicious dishes and excellent service and a calming atmosphere."

My husband and I had a great time
at Indique Heights. The food was excellent!"

Always great food and especially
nice wine list for an Indian restaurant."
Dined on 3/17/2014
Great food, environment and
service. Although our waitress was rushing us,she stopped after noticing we were enjoying our meal and company. The food was one of the best Indian restaurants that I have been to in the DC area"

We had a wonderful experience all
around! Parking below was surprisingly easy access and very inexpensive and convenient!"

I've been wanting to try Indique
Heights for some time now. I finally decided when I took a friend of mine out for a birthday dinner. I was pleasantly surprised that the food was reasonably priced and very filling. The ambience is nice and I would suggest sitting by the fountain for an "exotic feel". The servers could be a bit friendlier, otherwise, it was fine."

Excellent Restaurant. It is by far
our preferred neighbourhood Indian Restaurant"
Dined on 3/10/2014
Staff was very friendly and
helpful. Bar area is very nice for waiting for table and drinks are good. Wide variety of food choices including a good selection of vegetarian options. Everything was excellent."
Dined on 3/8/2014
I love their food and service and
will continue to bring friends and family to enjoy this restaurant with me!"
Dined on 3/6/2014
Appetizers were good, especially
the samosas. Loved the chicken curry Indique and the lentils. Lamb biryani was very tasty."
Dined on 3/1/2014
Our reservation was for 9:30,
knowing that the place closed at 10. We were early and got seated quickly. The table was a little wobbly but that was fixed immediately. This was my second visit to the restaurant so I knew that the atmosphere would be nice. By the end of the meal, the place was empty which was also very cool. The parking lot was locked and we were concerned that our car might be trapped, but the manager was very helpful and we were able to get out. The food was spicy enough, and the menu has a lot of vegan options."
Dined on 2/25/2014
Indique Heights was a wonderful
place to dine with friends we hadn't seen for a while. Food was delicious, noise level was low, service was excellent, and we never received the bill until we asked for it."
Dined on 2/20/2014
I had seen the sign for Indique
Heights on the side of the building, but my wife and I had never dined there. She decided that she wanted to have Valentine's Day dinner there. Great choice! We would truly dine there again, especially in the warmer months becasue they have a great outdoor dining area."
Dined on 2/14/2014
We made the mistake of going for a
late (2 pm) lunch on Valentine's thinking to avoid the crowd. The food and service was good but as one might expect the buffet was a little on the tired side at that hour. The economical, but tasty buffet should be tasted before one at the latest."
