I went there for a lunch date with my boyfriend. It was a buffet for $15.95 with an abundance of really good vegetarian items. The only meat was battered fish, kalua pork, and chicken pizza. I thought it was really good, but my bf didn't seem to enjoy it as much as I did. I love veggies! The rolls are so soft and oh so delicious. There was pita & hummus, eggplant, asparagus, mushrooms, green beans. So tasty and so fresh! The salad had different dressings. The only thing that I did not like was that there is someone there to put the food on your plate. Also the server was not always around to bring the check since its a buffet.
You can order some items ala carte, but I didn't see any one that did.

This is a perfect "ladies who lunch" spot. The buffet is healthy, colorful and tasty which is a good change from lunch buffets that you normally have to "roll" away from when you're done. The decor and atmosphere at Indigo is great; definitely unique in the Hawaii restaurant scene. The only downside to my experience was the horrific service. The restaurant wasn't that crowded and yet our server took our drink orders late, rarely came to check on us, and brought me luke warm coffee in a cup with lipstick stains. Thankfully since we went for the buffet we weren't counting on anyone to bring us our food. Last word...I would go back for a leisurely lunch and the cool atmosphere, but leave a much lower tip due to the poor service.

Went to Indigo for a date night with my boyfriend while in Honolulu as he had been there before some years ago and remembered it well. We had a reservation but really did not need it as it was super quiet and empty when we got there.
The duck was delicious as were the cheap martinis :)

Very good appetizers. 3 dips with flat bread - very nice, Shrimp Lumpia - great. Entree were off. Kitchen tried too hard, too much going on and nothing worked together. Duck Confit was duck 2 ways served with mashed potatoes, steamed buns one of the duck stuffed with hard boiled egg, etc - too much... I could go on and on... Martinis were poor. Needed to use more fresh ingredients and less bottled ie, pomegranate was DyKypur and not Pom or a real juice, it just did not work, tasted artificial as did all 3 of the martinis that we tried.

From the appetizer to the dessert I was very disappionted. Presentation was good although the food itself was flavorless. I think they gave us the wrong dessert also, because if that was the chocolate cloud, it would have fallen out of the sky, it was so dense. If you want to spend $100 for dinner, I would recommend going elsewhere.
