The food here was pretty tasty. Not a huge fan of their India's Best Special Naan, even though it was highly recommended--not bad though. The server was really on top of it with bringing my friend refills on his Coke. I got the Tandoori Mixed Grill, which looked and smelled amazing! The meats were just alright. While the chicken and shrimp were decent, the lamb and salmon steaks were dry and overdone. My friend got Chicken Tikka Masala at a heat level of spicy--pretty good! I kept stealing his sauce. haha. Overall, pretty good, though in the future, I'd want to try other Indian restaurants.

It didn't help that we purposely chose this restaurant because it was on OpenTable over our usual Indian restaurant. Our usual restaurant has a buffet where you can just get your food and start eating. At this place, if there is no one there to greet you, you feel like you have to walk through other diners and around these curtains to get to the register. I ended up talking to someone who works there through the curtains. We were seated and brought water, but no one came to take our order. I am usually very patient, but the wait was long. After the person who sat us came and talked to the table beside us, I figured he was going to take our order next, nope. He walked away and so did we. I don't even think they knew we left. :(

Food was good but the service was not. We sat for a while before they brought water and asked us for our order. We then watched every one that got seated after us get their food while we had nothing with no apology or explanation. We were there an hour before our food came out. Finally someone did apologize and said the samosas would be on them which they were not. The food was very good but don't think we will be going back.

We came in knowing that the service had plently of complaints, but hoped it wouldn't be too bad. It was! We ordered our food and it took almost 2 hours to get it!! Did they come check up on us? NOT ONCE!! We had to flag down different servers to see what the hold up was, never got a straight answer. I don't know if they have a manager or an owner on site because we never had one come and apologize for the long wait! It's just not how you run a restaurant! Server recommended coconut shrimp appetizer, it was terrible! The Naan was really good, but hard to screw up bread. Rest of the meal was okay, but not great and so not worth the wait! I do NOT recommend this place!!! We will NOT be returning!!!!

This has been a frequent dining experience for me and was very disappointed this time. From ordering it took 40 min. for 2 drinks, 1 hour for food. The server was new and was very nice, but very ill timed. We found a hair in the table bread dipping sauce while ordering, never a good start. When all the dinner food was finally delivered an hour later, we were missing the soup which was my main guest's dinner. I actually had to get up from the table and go find the server to ask for the soup to be brought out. I've been here about 7 times and sadly this experience was so poor I'm not sure I'll come back. I was embarrassed & very apologetic to my guests for choosing this restaurant to celebrate our big day.

India's Best is my favorite restaurant for Indian food. It's in a strip mall and the interior is pleasant & clean but nothing fancy. Food and service are outstanding. The breads are my fav - fresh baked and always tasty.

Nice Indian restaurant. Food for good, not great. For example, the vegetable Biryani did not have a lot of flavor because it lacked raisins, sliced nuts, etc. It did not have much in the way of vegetables either. Same with the other dishes.

Made reservations through Opentable for a group of six. One of my husband's all-time favorite restaurants. We've never had great luck with seating, though. This time we had a round table tightly fit into a corner. Three of us had a view of the walls. Didn't ask to be reseated as I don't want to be that type of person. Besides, it's somewhat embarrassing to relocate a whole group. Plenty of open tables in the restaurant I just don't think they pay attention to how they seat their guests.

Food was good - not as good as I was hoping. We drove about 20 minutes out of our way to find this place. Not sure if we'll go back. It was a good experience but not good enough for the extra drive. Server was nice but forgot a few things. Food could have been more flavorful. If you're in the area - go check it out.

Don't dismiss India's Best because of it's location! If is in a strip mall that seems to have had better days. The food was great and the service superb. Some of the best Indian food we've had in Denver.

    Disappointed
    Dined on 2/12/2013
India's Best may be a little out of sight (hidden off the street at the back of a strip mall) but it shouldn't be out of mind. Its decor is pleasant, the seating is comfortable, the staff attentive, and the food wonderful. Four of us sopped up every bit of four entrees and were a little disappointed when the plates were empty. And that is not because we felt underfed; indeed, we had no room for dessert. But it had been so much fun bouncing between the flavors of our lamb curry and eggplant and cauliflower and chicken dishes that we wanted to keep on going. India's Best is as good as any of the other Indian restaurants we have frequented in Denver. I recommend it.
