"We lived in North Beach, and this food is as good or better than anything we ever had there. The gnocchi is pillow soft and melt in your mouth divine! The special salad that evening was
perfectly dressed with bits of fruit and pear slices. The best meal we've had in recent years, and we dine out a lot!"

"My meal was 5-star: Insalata Rivera and Spaghetti Ai Frutti Di M'Are with the white wine sauce. Delish!! My husband's meal was 3-star: Specials of the night... some endive salad (boring) and the veal chop (flavorful, but fatty). Nice ambiance. However, the noise level was a bit much at times; it was hard to hear each other talk. It was a Friday evening b/t 6:30 and 8, but there were tables open."

"Enjoyed the relaxed pace at Incontro for Easter Brunch with the family. While the restaurant was busy, it was not overcrowded and frantic as so many places can be on a holiday weekend. For those of us who are not egg fans I found the Brunch menu very limited. It would have been nice to have a waffle or French toast choice. I had the fish which was well prepared but a bit dull."

"This restaurant was hyped online and recommended by friends. My experience was average at best. Service was average, we had to wait for water, bread and drink orders far too long. One of four liked their meal (the sturgeon); the rest felt the food was average. Three of us had the Caesar (which was recommended), very basic, warm lettuce and too much anchovy...The sausage in the risotto was tough and the risotto was too dry. The puff pastry used for the profiteroles was tough and the desert was very amaturish...sorry. The final bill came to $50.00 per person with corkage only...we brought the wine. This was far too much for the quality of food received."
