"We had the tasting menu and all the food was delectable and was well-prepared. It was predominantly acidic with other flavors to balance that out. The presentation was nice as well. All the wine and several cocktails we had were pleasant and complimented the food. The service was attentive, however, I don't like being referred to as honey or similar things if I'm not a regular somewhere; I think it's overly familiar. Certainly somewhere I would recommend to friends."

"The vasi (bruschetta) was my favorite part; interesting presentation and excellent blend of flavors. Friendly and helpful staff. I would love to eat outside when it gets warmer. The pizza dough was light and delicious, and the cheese was extremely fresh and flavorful. The only downfall was each dish was a little too salty for my taste, and we had to sit next to an extremely annoying couple (but that is bound to happen when tables are so close)."

"We started with a Zanini and Dinale....both very refreshing drinks to kick off brunch. We started the food with the fried artichokes and lemon yogurt and meatballs. Each dish was delectable and amazing. I wanted to run my finger through the jus of the meatballs and they were oh so tender on the inside and slightly caramelized on the outside. YUM! Next we went two different directions...definitely a pizza, but wanted to try a brunch dish also. We had the Bacala, which is salt cod and potato dish, served with a beautifully soft fried egg and tapenade on top with rustic toast points. The pizza was the broccoli misto...read about it on the menu, incredible and makes you slow down and savor every bite! I felt like I was back in Naples again..ah."

"I am particularly fond of salt, so In Riva's menu suited my tastes just fine. The salad, the sauce on the mussels...both were liberally salted. The pizzas were great. My garlic spinach and carmelized onions was a wonderful combination. The beef cheeks were not as exciting, but that may have been my unrealistic expectations."
