Our pasta and veal dishes were outstanding, nicely prepared and cooked to perfection. After lunch drinks were perfection personified. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch and dinner. The service was outstanding, as Fidel was a wonderful waiter. Don't miss this wonderful gem in the heart of Alexandria. Unusual, the salad was included in the price, but the side dishes were not, keep that in mind. Pricing VERY reasonable.

Il Porto is celebrating 40 years and they are offering wonderful wines from Italy for 19.73. Though they were very busy, we never felt rushed. We were seated immediately without a fuse or confusion. The ambiance was family orienented however was also great for date night! The food was to DIE for.... They were doing some renovations in the lower part of the restaurant, but had the upper level available for dining and it was different, but equally as welcoming and enjoyable.
