The food is really ordinary and needs alot of improvments.....Had the Ceasar salad and the Penne Arrabiata which were very bland, the noodles weren't cooked al dente. My husband had the veal parmigiana and he said it was the worst he ever ate. It's a nice restaurant and our server was so nice and attentive. We were really disappointed.

After reviewing the menu before our arrival I felt there were plenty of options for our party of 12. Looking forward to a nice italian meal after a day of skiing. When we arrived we were told there was a specific menu for the holiday week. It was fine but not great especially for a group of 6 hungry teenage boys. They should have told us in advance of the menu change. The food overall was fine but I think they made a big mistake with their holiday menu.

The food is very good. What you really go here is for the incredible view from the large covered space that extends from this building. There are tall sliding windows that were open on all sides for the summer. We ate in the splendor of the Laurentian Mountains with incredible views that never get old. Service was warm and informative. The dishes were more homestyle italian with fine fresh ingredients. Romantic?.....Oh Yes!

The food was excellent and the server was very nice. The service was too long and we waited 1hour before we got our wine and appetizers After a day of ski with the kids , it was very too long for them and for us to wait and when the food arrived , they were too exhausted to eat. We had to go back to the condo to get them to bed .

The menu is varied with an excellent Table d'hote and a great special that 2 of us took advantage of. The food was well presented. Portions were appropriate. It is a very scenic spot but once it's dark it doesn't matter. We found it cool but the location is floor to ceiling glass on 3 sides and the restaurant is located over the entrance to the complex so in winter- dress warmly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Il Pinnacolo. The view was spectacular looking out on to Mont Tremblant all lit up at night it was so beautiful especially with a full moon in the sky too. We had a reserved table right at the window so that added to seeing the view so well. Our waitress was excellent explaining the menu and giving the kids options and recommendations. Her service was attentive and timely. The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. After a day at the ski hills it was a lovely finish to a fabulous day. We would definitely recommend eating here at the Cap Tremblant Resort restaurant!

Les plats que moi et mon amoureux avons mangé manquait de ''pep''. Le goût des repas laissait à désirer mais le dessert était délicieux. Pas assez de choix au menu pour un resto italien.

    Dined on 12/30/2012
The complimentary bread/buns were fresh and just out of the oven which was great but the minestrone soup was a little too salty. The veal parmesan with pasta was good but the pasta sauce was bland and there wasn't enough of it for all the pasta on the plate. The wait staff was excellent, very friendly and welcoming. The wine list selection was small but reasonably priced.

    OpenTable Diner Since 2012

We were the only table in the restaurant so, of course, we had great service. Our waitress was very nice and very patient, even though we had two young children. The food, however, was nothing spectacular. Both of our children had pasta and my husband and I had the Sunday special, which is also pasta. We had Ceasar salad and rutabaga/carrot soup as our starters. The soup was much like my recipe so we all enjoyed it but the salad, in my opinion, had way too much anchovy paste in the dressing. For claimed "authentic italian" cuisine restaurant, I felt that the pasta was nothing more than dried, packaged noodles and Ragu. I make better "authentic italian" at home, an I'm not italian!

We had a IloveMtl coupon, but were treated the same as any other customer (sometimes they don't give as good of service as the tip is included in the coupon) We had the escargot, soup, filet mignon, and chocolate mousse. Everything was cooked perfectly except the mousse was a little heavy. We went for the Sunday brunch also, nothing special about that though. The staff was great and very friendly.

We dined there with our kids (12 and 8 years old)and the food and service was amazing. They were very accommodating, we requested special seating and our table was perfect. We had salmon, steak, and pizza and everything was delicious. You must end your meal with their tiramisu or creme brulee for dessert. We would definitely go back.
