"The best part was the variety of complimentary appetizers brought to the table. Plus, the special appetizer which was eggplant wrapped around shrimp, was out standing. The Arugula salad was very good. I got the shrimp and risotto special and it was just OK. The shrimp was served whole in the shelled, sliced down the middle. I don't like that. a couple of them were mushy. It just wasn't that great. Everyone else liked what they had for an entree, but didn't love it. I would honestly go there and order drinks, salads and appetizers and maybe dessert and skip the entree."

"Our first time in Vegas and Il Mullino. Our 25th wedding anniversary. Service was fantastic, food excellent, we loved it. A little pricey but if you want fine dining, and we do, you live with the prices. We would definitely go back. Live here in NY but very hard to get reservations. We will have to try again."

"This is a special restaurant with beautiful decor, ambience, great service, and outstanding food. The roast chicken was delicious, as was the eggplant rollatini. Delicious breads, cheese, salami and sauteed zuchini are included as appetizers with every meal. They were very accommodating when my wife wanted a dish on a bed of pasta, something not on the menu. The wine list by the glass was too pricey in my opinion but had good selections. The free grappa after the meal is another nice touch unique to Il Mullino. The service as always was exceptionally attentive and gracious. I have eaten at the NYC location of this restaurant, which was memorable, and I was pleased by the Vegas branch."

"IL Mulino was exactly like many of the other famous-named restaurants that have opened a restaurant in Las Vegas - a decent replica of the original but far from quality and attention to detail of their namesake restaurant. The service was excellent, but the food was not that great. The Bolognese sauce lacked flavor and the pasta was overcooked. The main courses were ok, but nothing special. We are avid foodies and wine lovers, and while they had an excellent selection of wines, they were 3-4 times retail on their pricing rather than the customary 2 times. This restaurant obviously caters to corporate clients on an expense account."
