The food was delicious ( I had the Oso Buco which was wonderful) and the service was friendly and attentive. We went to the restaurant on Mother's Day, which as we know can be hit and miss at any fine restaurant. Il Mito did not disappoint. We ordered the Lasagna which was our favorite, the margerita pizze, and the pasta bolgonese. The ceasar slad was good but could of used a little more dressing. From the moment we stepped in, we felt at home. Everyone is friendly, from the hosts, the bartenders, the servers and even the bus staff. Our meals were delicious, well balanced, and perfectly cooked; our service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive.
I ordered the fish special and my husband had the turkey tenderloin that came with a side of maple glazed carrots --we wished we had an entire bowl of them to share, they were so good!
The only issue that stood out was the aesthetic of the restaurant; there was an attempt at a rustic feel however it was not authentic and didn't blend well with the hotel --the crystal chandeliers were beautiful yet stood out in an obvious way. We were looking for a nice new restaurant. My wife was aware of your previous locations, but had never gone there. The wine was good but what we found most enjoyable was the chairs were comfortable, The food perfectly prepared and the portions were just the right size. We even had room to enjoy a dessert, which is rarely the case. The food, selection and very attentive service were equal to that of the older established location. Three of us ordered Linguine Napolitana, "a fisherman’s ragu of clams, shrimp, panga, bay scallops". It was a light but very flavorful dish. The salmon special was also a hit. Reasonable entrée prices, although mostly À la carte, with salads and soup extra. The wine list could use work. We ordered a sauvignon blanc which was very average but when I inquired about an alternate for our 2nd bottle, I was informed that it was the only one offered. And I hear rave reviews from the regular pasta and pizza eaters too ... this is a true gem for anyone loving authentic homemade Italian cuisine and especially for Gluten Free eaters.
