Il Luogo RistoranteThis was our second visit.This was our second visit. The mark of a good restaurant is its consistency. This visit was even better than our first and we truly enjoyed our first time, that is why we came back. The food is prepared beautifully, with great presentation and flavor. The stuffed artichoke was delicious...stuffed but light and full of fresh garlic.
Burata salad and red beet salad was great too.
Hubby had the seaford dish with pasta and he enjoyed it.
No room for dessert.
We will be back.4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMReally terrific kitchen.Really terrific kitchen. The waiters mean well but fall a bit short on service. On the weekends you can barely hear yourself think, but during the week the noise isn't a problem.

We decided to try it last Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere
We were not rushed which added to our enjoyment
It was a little noisy at times but not unbearable
The only complaint would be the size of the font on the menu. Eight point type .. to try to fit all the choices on two pages.
Nice touch at end was a complimentary sliced fruit platter served with our coffee

The food, delicious and authentic italian, the presentation just perfect. the atmosphere, clean, the space between tables, ideal. The music, italian, soft. The other guests, formal, well dressed and we were happy too. The Maitre, the chef, and all the personal, friendly, they knew very well their job.
My wife is chef, with a degree in italian food. We have visited almost twenty of best Italian Restaurants in New York. This site changes hands about every 10 years or less, and this time it's a real winner. Attentive staff, and truly excellent food. Food? Good beyond description. The quality and presentation are as good as ANY place in NY.

I love the bucatini pasta, very creative chef, I and my husband had a great time at our wedding anniversary !!
