What used to be delicious is merely okay, and it's unfortunate considering how great everything else is. I want to be excited when I go out to eat, and that feeling doesn't exist as often with this restaurant. The pasta with chicken and lobster sauce was amazing and the warm spinach salad was huge and very good. Even the bread was excellent. The ambience is great. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is
it was kind of odd that those of us with hot food were served at least 10 minutes before
those of us with cold food. The waiter told us that the two sides of the kitchen didn't coordinate. The servers always make it a special occasion for us. They are all charming and authentic. We go out for dinner every week and we are never disappointed when we
go here. It's like a little excursion to Italy. The staff is mostly Italian and very professional. They appreciate honest feedback about
the food and if we aren't happy with anything they remedy it. The waiter asked about my pasta course (I was which I had just tasted and I was very glad he asked because it frankly had hardly any flavor at all. I guess I wasn't the only one who said that. He immediately insisted on returning it to the kitchen and replacing it with another dish. I loved the bean soup and the branzino main dish, and the bread is always divine.
