"They have the best pasta dish in L.A. - the truffle mezzeluna - and definitely the best setting. Beets with goat cheese is great also. Their Barbaresco Pertenace '07 - Piedmonte - is an excellent wine."

"Loved the ambiance... the food was average however.... What we didn't like was being charged for a side dish that was a substitution.... It's also funny being charged for a refill on an Arnold Palmer which all restaurants refill complimentary. Wouldn't dine here again."

"For the amount tht we paid for the food, it can only be called "good". Nothing exceptional. While our server was friendly when we saw him, he was too inattentive for to merit a positive review. We were ignored for 20 minutes after being given the dessert menu, thus bringing us to our senses so that we did not spend any more money here and asked for the check instead upon finally being acknowledged. It's a shame, too, because the restaurant really boasts a fantastic ambiance. Will not be returning."

"I had been to il covo brfore for dinner, but not for lunch. Il covo is wonderful for lunch! Sat in th garden and enjoyed a very light and healthy lunch with a business associate. The setting, service and food were all great. Highly recommend this option for an enjoyable lunch if you are in the neighborhood."

"I had not been here since Orso closed over a year ago and WOW what a different place. The service and food were amazing. We ordered several appetizers and a pizza and shared everything.
