Thought the food was good. Great location and not too noisy or expensive. My fish had grill marks on it but tasted like the grill needed to be cleaned. My colleague loved his pasta dish.

...the food is outstanding - the wine, well selected (deferred to a staff recommendation as ours was not available that evening) - the service, attentive. The linguine with clams (LINGUINE ALLE VONGOLE VERACI - 22.00) was outstanding - it wrapped the palate in sweet, smoky goodness, and lingered there just long enough to savor. The fruitti de mare was enjoyable. I don't think the menu on line is current - but it's always best to cook what's fresh so that wasnt a bother to us. We enjoyed the experience very much, and already recommended it to others!

We really enjoyed our meal. We stumbled across Il Corso and now it will be a place we return to. The food was elegantly prepared and served professionally. My wife was transported back to her youth eating the bucatini con sarde. My pasta special (a ragu) was delicious. Staff was attentive but not intrusive.

Salad was very good - fresh, crisp greens and delicate dressing. Service was attentive and pleasant. My pasta dish was a disappointment - very nice al dente, homemade pasta but with no flavor and swimming in oil. My dining partner's pasta dish however was very good - a ravioli with a tomato based sauce.

We chose this spot based on the reviews but we feel we must have gone to a different restaurant. There is no ambience, but then we thought ok-- the food will be great. It was horrible. Each dish was a disappointment, the grilled octopus, the seafood cioppino, the veal Milanese, steak, were all just nothing. Perhaps this is just a place for pasta-- which we didn't have. And the bill was ridiculous for the experience. I don't usually write anything but if you're basing your choice on the reviews-- stay away!!

The wait staff was very attentive to our needs. It was a nice dining experience. The pricing was in line with what we normally see for nice quality restaurants in this part of the city.

this is a great neighborhood restaurant - the service was great. Unfortunately there was a group of about 8 at the table next to us and the guests were very loud. The room was small so the sound reverberated and made it difficult to have a conversation which really marred the evening. the staff were apologetic

Great Italian food! Pastas are excellent! Menu online is slightly different than in the restaurant. Service was very good in typical Italian fashion. They were out of the buffalo mozzerella appetizer but we got burrata instead.. I had pasta with mushrooms. It was cooked perfectly and very fresh tasting. My wife had the Gnocchi which I sampled and they melted in your mouth with wonderful flavors.. Next time I will definitely try some fish or meat.. Put this one on your list if you are going for Italian..

We ordered rhe specials recommended by our waiter. The lobster risoto had no taste at all and had no lobster as well. The lamb had about 6 bites total and was flavorless. Dont expect decent mixed drinks here as the waiter was the bartender. Paid way too much for a very unsatisfying meal.

My daughter and I tried this restaurant for the first time and will definitely return. We both had suburb fresh pasta entrees- that were light and flavorful without being too garlicky. The frisée salad with beets and watermelon was photo worthy and delicious. We couldn't resist the vanilla panne cotta which was hands down the best I've ever had. The ambiance and decor was wonderful and much better than the online photograph. The high backed (beautifully upholstered) banquette with a neutral fabric with subtle sheen runs along one side of the restaurant and adds sophistication to the space. The staff was friendly and attentive-even bringing over a tiny chair for my purse. I wish this restaurant was in my neighborhood!

We had to yell to have a conversation so at the end of the day, not a place I would go back to for a meal that cost us $300.00!

We usually eat at Il Corso on our trips to New York city and it's a must of us. Our food was excellent and service was good. Our waiter left us to deal with a customer/friend (we could see them from our table) and the other waiter help us get out orders. Everything went smoothly but it was strange. The first waiter just stared at us when we said our good-byes. Our hope is that the second waiter gets our tip.
