"As a last minute find on open table, I figured this would be a mediocre lunch. Wow was I wrong. The ambiance at 2pm on a Friday in March was quiet, low key, and relaxed. A glass of white wine came quickly and was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the food....WOW. It may have been the very best dish I have had in quite a long while. Granted, the dish they brought me had clams instead of the shrimp I ordered, but the kitchen staff would have been happy to return it had I not insisted on eating it anyway. I am so glad I did! The hour and a half spent there took me back to a summer spent in Italy, and I will be sure to recommend this restaurant to everyone I know going downtown. Reasonably priced, wonderful food, and atmosphere!"

"Service was wonderful! I loved the atmosphere, it's a very cozy restaurant, yet they were able to give us a table for 13 people. The food itself was hit or miss. The eggplant parm appetizer was delicious! But the bruschetta I found to be mediocre. The wine was great. And the pizzas we ordered were pretty good
It is not one of my favorite places in the city, but if I were in the neighborhood again, I'd definitely go back."

"We were looking for a restaurant close to where we were staying as it was our last evening in New York, and this was quite a find. We began with a simple appetizer of tomato bruschetta, which was fresh, bright and delicious. I don't recall my husband's entree but know he thoroughly enjoyed it, as did I my fettucine bologonese. The entrees were a bit slow coming but the staff was very attentive, explaining the delay and offering glasses of wine while we waited. It was a wonderfully comfortable evening, and a great place to celebrate the last night of our holiday vacation."
