When I received the email I viewed the menu, and made the decision the book with III Forks. I'm so glad that went with my "gut feeling" and went this way. The Asparagus soup was wonderful, the III Forks salad was excellent. My Beef Tenderloins were fantastic!!!!
Finally my pecan came great. Our waiter and other restaurant staff was wonderful. I will be returning.
I will be returning to III Forks.

Ordered the Tomato and onion salad with cheese but specifically asked to NOT have onions on it. When it arrived it appeared to have EXTRA onions!! I slowly picked them all off and put them on a seperate plate since I kinda wanted him to see...he wasnt the one that delivered them, nor were we once checked on after. I finished the salad, we waited about 5-8min and someone else came and cleared the plate. We ordered off the menu, my boyfriend the tomahawk, and I had the bone-in filet myself. Waiter did take that order...but again we only saw him once more after that!
Just disappointed, considering we spent close to 150 just on our off the menu steaks. I don't remember what it was called, but it was slices of tender beef on a toasted bread then topped with a very flavorful sauce. The beef just melted in your mouth! We shared the Chilean Sea Bass and a Filet Mignon and we were both very pleased. The wine list is impressive and the service and food are outstanding. It is by no means inexpensive and for $80-$100 per person (average with wine) I think there are a few places around Dallas I prefer a bit more. The main dining room is very open and the atmosphere can be at little noisy when they are busy. When we arrived, we were seated near a beautiful fireplace but the room was already filling up and the noise was beyond tolerable. We decided to talk to our waiter because we were there to celebrate our 52nd wedding anniversary and my wife and I could not even hear each other talk. Several parties dining included some very boisterous and obnoxious guests. Our waiter spoke with the manager and he immediately moved us to a quiet room across from the bar area. It proved to be very nice and now we were able to hear the piano and each other. Again, III Forks is a very well respected restaurant but it does lack in ambiance and romantic setting.
