  • "This is a great place to be! however i would like to be treated awesome even though i am here for restaurant week. The soup is a little bit salty and the 4th course seem to be similar to the soup on the first course?"

  • "Took the wife here for restaurant week, got a $60 filet meal for $35. Slightly on the pricey side (discount aside) but the food was -amazing-. Among the best filets I've ever had, FRESH green beans, creamed corn, and potatoes. Also had the lobster and crab shooters, delicious! Thier cheesecake desert was thick and flavorful with fresh raspberry syrup and a large one on top. The service was great as well, never had a low glass and several people came by to check on us."

  • "This was our 3rd time at three forks and first time for restaurant week. Even their usda choice beef steaks were delicious. Usually we get the prime beef which is heaven, but again, the choice was completely satisfying. For $35 per person for a 3 course meal, it was a great deal."

  • "III Forks used to be the "go to" spot for fine dining. It has definitely become one of a chain. First, we arrived on time for our 6:30 reservation; we were seated at 6:45. Granted, not a long wait, but... We were given menus as soon as we sat down, but had to wait to have our order taken. Our appetizers and salad came to the table at a good pace, but we had to wait about 15-20 minutes for our steaks to arrive. My husband's was cooked correctly to medium rare; mine was so rare it appeared to have barely hit the heat. When the sommelier came over to ask how everything was, he insisted he could fix the steak quickly, which he did. The sommelier was definitely the high point of the evening. He recommended an outstanding wine."

  • "Good experience. Too noisy outside. Service was great. food was great. Just did not like being outside. This was an anniversary dinner and it was just too loud outside."

  • "Ordered cocktails and then picked wine. After first sip of cocktail, wine was delivered, tasted and then she just poured out full glasses. Might want to wait until cocktail is gone. Entre was served on "hot" plate but food was cold half way thru meal."

  • "Restaurant ambience was wonderful but very disappointed in restaurant week menu. My 14- year old grandson was still hungry after his 6 ounce filet offered on menu. Dessert options were not top choices either."

  • "Food was cooked to perfection; served hot; Francisco is fantastic waiter."

  • "We've been to a lot of different upscale steak houses and III Forks' filet is definitely one of the top if not the top of the list. It was cooked perfectly, exactly how we wanted it. The seasoning was fantastic. Other steakhouses obviously cooked it well, but there was something about III Forks that was so much different than the rest. We came here to celebrate getting married, we got a wedding gift to come here. And we're glad we did, we'll definitely come back when we have the opportunity and money to do so."

  • "For me, Restaurant Week is a time to see the true colors of a restaurant, and III Forks sure showed their colors. For as busy as they were, they did not lower the standard of service or the quality of food. I was very impressed by the lower priced cocktail option, lower priced bottle of wine, as well as the menu price being the lower of the two ($35 vs $45). III Forks, you thoroughly impressed me and I will be coming back to enjoy a meal sometime soon!"

  • "I don't think you can find a better steak house in Dallas. I recommend asking for the second floor close to the piano."

  • "This was our first time to III Forks. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening!! The ambiance was wonderful, the food delicious and the music was the icing on the "Anniversary Cake"! Dawn made our time there relaxed and inviting. I recommend this restaurant whole-heartedly!"

  • "Great experience overall. We have been to this place few times and never been disappointed. Nice setting, good food snd service. The only note I would make is that bread pudding for desert was too sweet and did not taste much as bread pudding. I love bread puddings and somewhat sensitive to how they are prepared. Other than that I will go back for next occasion."

  • "We had previous good experiences at III Forks, so went for Restaurant Week with another couple. We were sat upstairs, directly next to the piano. It was so loud, we couldn't hear each other speak. Our waiter was friendly, but was REALLY slow and disappeared for long lengths of time. The food was mediocre. I ordered my steak medium rare; it was served medium. The sauce on the steak was not very good - sweet & overly peppery. The snap peas were good, but the potatoes were barely warm. My husband ordered the salad appetizer & didn't eat it because it was overly sweet, but the lobster bisque was ok. The liquid seafood shooters were odd. We told them it was our friends' 19th anniversary, but the restaurant did nothing special for them."

  • "Steaks were amazing, house salad very unique taste, fantastic crusty bread and the cream corn was unbelievable! Expensive, but worth every penny!"

  • "The service was exceptional and the food was very good. My steak was a little tough but I think it was the cut as it was cooked perfectly. We were seated in the small section by the bar and the noise and activity were higher than I expected. If I was taking someone on a date, I would request not to be seated in that section."

  • "Six very good friends, great service and good food and wine. What is not to like! The steaks might be a little "Frenchy"; served covered with sauce, but tasty none the less. We have been here more than once for restaurant week which says a lot. We will likely go again. Thanks for the good memories."

  • "good food, good piano music, good service we were treated very well from the moment we walked in the door. Great dining experience for celebrating a special occasion!"

  • "We arrived and they knew that we were celebrating our 45th anniversary. We were promptly seated in the most lighted area in the restaurant, so much for an intimate and private atmosphere for this dinner. We ordered our steaks medium rare and we both have eaten at steak houses all over the country so we know that there is often a fine line between interpretation of medium rare and rare but both steaks arrived clearly "raw" where there is no fine line. They sent them back, which did ruin the mood and more importantly, when they put them back on since they had been cut into they were not real juicy and now were more medium than our original request. Service attention was low. They did bring a free desert for our event and it was dry and stale"

  • "III Forks never disappoints! Every course was delicious. The starter bread was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside; the flavors of the salad are well-balanced, and the sides were so good that it's hard not to overeat. The filet mignon is cooked to perfection, with all the subtle flavors of a good cut still in tact. This is definitely a fine dining staple for Dallas."

  • "My friends and I had "Ladies Night" celebrating recent accomplishments at III Forks and enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. We all had filet mignon, each cooked differently, but everyone loved it. The lobster mac and cheese and creamed corn tasted great. I look forward to dining at III Forks again soon."

  • "This was the first time that my wife and I had dined at III Forks and enjoyed the whole experience. The food was excellent and the server was the best, his knowledge of the menu and wines made the evening complete. We will definitely be dining again at III Forks."

  • "I had never been to III Forks mainly because it's quite far from my house & heard the menu was pretty pricey. So thought it would be a perfect place to try during restaurant week. We got a bottle of wine at the bar while waiting for our table. I thought it odd that there so many empty tables, when so many people waiting to be seated. After being seated we waited for approx 15 mins to get our wine from the bar to the table & another 10-15 mins for our server to appear. Had to ask for a chiller for the wine, had to request bread, had to ask that luke warm onion rings but returned for hot ones. Meal was ok, nothing exceptional & the service was lacking. Thank goodness for restaurant week so you can try a restaurant out at an affordable price."

  • "Mai our server was fantastic. !!! She was polite well versed in the menu and extremely friendly. It was our 20th wedding anniversary and III Forks was just the place for my wife and I. We will never forget the dinner and dining at the restaurant."

  • "My girlfriend's parents (NYC natives/food snobs) went here for their anniversary and raved about it. We went during Restaurant Week and had a limited menu, which I was wary of at first but it ended up great. Started off with cocktail: martini with bacon + bleu cheese olives; lobster + crab shooters for appetizers, house salad (get extra dressing), ordered a bottle of Malbec. Both of us got the filet mignon and it was exquisite. I didn't want it to end even though I was way past full. Chocolate mousse cack for dessert, which we had to bring home because oh my god food. Highly recommend."

  • "The food was amazing. Clearly the chef knows how to serve not only a tasteful meal. The portions are plentiful and it was balanced with vegetables. I had the salmon - amazing and cooked to perfection. Thisi was a 5+ start restaurant."

  • "This is our go-to restaurant for special occasions and celebrations. Everything is always perfect from the food to the wine and service. The beef croustade appetizer is heavenly, melt-in-your-mouth delicious! The III Forks salad is a must, even if you are not a fan of blue cheese. The cheese is so mild and smooth. The steaks are always cooked to perfection. We have never had a less than stellar experience for the countless times we have been there."

  • "A friend and I dined there on restaurant week. I don't know what this waiters problem was. I ordered a Moscow mule and my cup broke and he didn't even ask to replace my drink. The price was quiet steep. 12.00 for about a cup. The Manger came over and I explained this to him and he brought me a house wine, and it was bad also. The desert order was wrong. I've been to 3 Forks on numerous occasions, and this was just unpleasant."
