Our party of four, enjoyed three appetizers, four mains and two desserts. The restaurant was most accommodating, as each dish was split and shared by the four of us. We thus enjoyed a tasting menu with all of our selections. Everything was fabulous, although our collective favorites were the steak tartar, lobster bisque and soufflé. Service was excellent and BYOB corkage of $25 allowed us to bring a great wine to enjoy. Ambiance and seating were adequate, somewhat sparse and uninspiring. It was my birthday night, it was a little difficult to get reservations, but well worth the challenge. Expect to spend more than the usual - every penny (or nickel in the new Canadian context) is worth it! Warmed with a cod amuse bouche - followed by a goat cheese, endivze salad with this a delicious quinoa - we had bouillabaise fish which was meaty - we indulged with the lamb and beef, both cooked to perfection. The "icing" on the meat was the velvet mashed potatoes. The wine was paired magically with the help of the waiting staff!
