We shared six different small plates - it was a great way to try a lot of different food. Thoroughly enjoyable! With four people we were able to try some things that were new to us while still enjoying the dishes that keep us coming back. Our favorites (pork cheek tacos, bacon wrapped dates, veal shank ravioli) were all just as tasty as our memories of them, and the dishes we tried for the first time were equally delicious. The grilled octopus was the best I have ever had. We tried a couple of their specials and they were equally impressive. As usual the service was top notch. Ian took great care of me as my server and was so accommodating of my friend and I. She is gluten free and he really took his time walking us through the menu and explaining all the gluten free options. They also have a gluten free menu which is great and one of the reasons I will absolutely be back with her. I had the morcilla and pork cheek tacos, both were to die for. She had the filet, which was so tender and cooked perfectly. Of course we had cocktails as well that were spot on (Lane is the best back there!).

Downside was it is very pricey. We just had tapas and cocktails and it was about $40 per person. Everyone from the hostess to our server to someone opening the door for us all thanked us for coming into the restaurant. The waiters tag teamed and helped each other out and worked well as a team. The seating is a little crowded, but it is more intimate that way! The food choices offer all kinds of interesting variety so you can try all sorts of Tapas or order entrees. Will most definitely be back, just as soon as I work off the 2 lbs I gained.
(only recommendation would be to have more lighter fare menu items,
as these were all very rich and heavy, but sooo delicious!!)

Our server was friendly and knowledgeable and the ambiance was busy and energetic but quiet enough to have a conversation. Menu highlights for me were the bacon wrapped dates, the asada flatbread (I forget the full name) and the flourless chocolate cake. Plus, they serve dancing goats coffee (my favorite). The food was excellent, as usual, and the service was quite good. It's very pork heavy as the name would imply, with lots of smoky bacon as a main component of the food, even some of the cocktails. The gripe I have is with the upstairs space; the ceiling is relatively low with hard surfaces, so the noise level is so high that you have to yell to carry on a conversation. Our waiter literally shouted the specials at us and I could barely hear him. We've been going for years and have never had anything negative either with the food or service. We also take out of town guests to the Pig.
The house Old Fashioned with maple syrup and bacon infused rye is outstanding! We've had a good portion of the menu and can honestly say every single item has been amazing it its presentation and taste. The cabrito (braised goat) is especially delicious - not a hint of gaminess. The octopus is amazing!
The staff is well trained and attentive. Leigh Ann the manager is excellent at guest relations and of course the kitchen led by Chad is glorious.
