Iaria's Italian Restaurantdinner with a colleagueIaria's is simply fresh, great tasting Italian cuisine. The stuffed 3 cheese tortellini with italian sausage topped off with a creamy tomato sauce was to die for.
The ambience of a restaurant from yesteryear 50's-60's adds to the nostalgia of this long-standing Indy favorite. Leaving hungry will not be an issue.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat meal.A friend recommended that I try their Chicken Marsala if I ate there so I did. And I am very glad I did their Chicken Marsala is probably the best I have ever had, esp. in Indianapolis. The meal is reasonably priced. Only thing I found that would bring the meal rating down was the sauce on the side pasta was just plan tomato sauce; a few herbs would make it a much better sauce. Not many herbs but enough to kick it up a notch and not take away from the Chicken.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMDown home IndyGreat little off the beaten path casual restaurant! Food and service were excellent!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWife and I went back for ourWife and I went back for our anniversary after having our first date there. We arrived a bit early, but they got us a table within minutes. The food was delicious. Recipes straight from old world Italy. Each entree was enough for two meals. Our server was just the right amount of attentive. Overall and very enjoyable experience.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMIaria's is an Indianapolis GemIaria's always has great food and a great atmosphere!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMno place like homeIn Indy for a 3 day conference - after reception "meals" I was determined to find a local place for a good meal. I landed at Iaria's at about 8:30 on a Saturday evening - it was packed with couples, families, a retirement party and a great bar (separate room) - I sat at the only remaining seat at the bar to wait for my table in the dining room, was introduced to Dom by a guy from Jersey City (his first visit) -- in a matter of a few minutes Tarp and I had figured out that we both knew a NFL coach - Tarp was a fraternity brother of his and I was headed to a wedding of his god daughter. BTW my eggplant parmesan was excellent as the Cesar salad - and had to end with a cannoli - asl recommend Barbera wine - have fun4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWe love the way Iaria's hasWe love the way Iaria's has kept it's charm & ambiance.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food, great service andGood food, great service and 1/2 price bottles of wine on Thursdays!4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMThe grouper picata is my favorite. The grouper picata is my favorite. It looks like a hole in the wall from outside, but it is truly a hidden gem of Indy!3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Italian-American food.Great Italian-American food. You can tell everything is home made and they give huge portions. One of those hole in the wall looking places3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMRetro Venue! Great Food!Great old school establishment with the glass block windows, pics of notables on the walls, savvy and efficient servers. Simple, delicious spaghetti, bread, and salad - not with a "twist," which I dislike with traditional pasta dishes. Large plates!! - not fancy "small plates" place. Loud, fun, upbeat, and happy environment.3/9/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Best ItalianThis place is great. Good value for you money. Unlike the other Italian restaurant in the neighorhood.
