All the staff are very nice and our waiter was really attentive (hovered a little bit too much for my taste, but we had everything we needed the whole night so it was fine). The food was delicious - calamari was really good, and both the lamb chop and crab cake entrees were very good. The food was melt in your mouth great. I had the 14oz Prime, (should have had the filet) I was stuffed. My wife had the chicken. Both packed with flavor and juicy tender.
I wish there were more coupons for this restaurant,, I would return more often. However, a little above my budget, but well worth the money. I will return for special occasions.

This is the kind of place you go to be greeted by name and have servers remember your favorite wine. The maitre d' offers you a paper while you wait for the rest of your party. Your server shows up periodically to periodically pour for you.
The food was solid, but it doesn't rate being called great. No problems with any of the food, but it didn't stand out. The mozzarella was very fresh on their Caprese, for example, but the tomatoes were weak.
You pay quite a bit to eat here, and it's all about the service. Oh, and the pepper mill they use! As a groupon user, you had the option of choosing something from the entire menu with the exception of pre-determined wine (a red or white blend). When we showed the groupon, his attitude did not change which I find can often be the case at businesses. Instead, we felt completely treated and it simply was a wonderful date spot. If I lived in DC we would definitely make a trip back.
I recommend the cheesecake, caprese salad and the veal.

We went on a Groupon coupon that include a complete meal for two. Other than the wine selection, the entire menu was available and i Ricchi didn't skimp on anything. I had the House Mixed Grill (lamb chop, stuffed quail, & Tuscan sausage), all were excellent. My wife had the sauteed beef fillet with roasted peppers; it was flavorful and cooked to order.
