It was a bit off-putting that the waiter did not let us order an appetizer until we ordered our entire meal (supposedly at the order of the chef) but it arrived quickly and was exceptional (calamari, delicately seasoned with lemon). It was an online deal that brought us back and we were not disappointed. Service initially was good but perfunctory; we believe it's because they were inundated with coupon users who weren't used to a fine dining establishment like I Ricchi. As the meal proceeded however, the waiter warmed up.
More important the food was excellent - calamari were done perfectly - starter portions were generous. The entrees were quite good and for dessert the tiramisu and vin santo with biscotti were not to be missed.

I especially recommend the lamb chops, the crab cakes, and the filet of beef. While there aren't a lost of pasta dishes, the pasta with rabbit meat is great. The service is attentive, but not intrusive, and the entire staff is very professional. All of the staff were very friendly and attentive and the portions of food were almost more than we could eat. We will recommend this place to our friends and colleagues.

It's fried in olive oil, has just the right amount of salt, and is not greasy in the least - yummy! All the staff (except maybe one who wasn't there this time - yay!) are wonderful, friendly, and helpful - from the Maitre'D who remembers you, makes you feel that you matter and are as important as a "VIP" to the always gracious wait staff to the ever watchful busboys. The food is always delicious and except for the Calamari, we tried something different - Filet w/truffles served w/Polenta and broccoli, and the thin spaghetti w/shrimp in a simple and fresh tomato sauce. It was raining pretty hard and the valet was a nice surprise. All the staff are very nice and our waiter was really attentive (hovered a little bit too much for my taste, but we had everything we needed the whole night so it was fine). The food was delicious - calamari was really good, and both the lamb chop and crab cake entrees were very good. The food was melt in your mouth great. I had the 14oz Prime, (should have had the filet) I was stuffed. My wife had the chicken. Both packed with flavor and juicy tender.
I wish there were more coupons for this restaurant,, I would return more often. However, a little above my budget, but well worth the money. I will return for special occasions.

The extremely large wine racks are covered in real ivy, and there are many live trees throughout the restaurant. It brings the feeling of eating outside to days with even the worst weather. And of course, the food. They offer branzino as a special sometimes, and it is a must. The sauce is almost drinkable.
