"We had a variety from the menu including the blue mussels which where fantastic, the ahi tuna tartar which was delicious, beef wellington was amazing and cooked perfectly and cornish hen which my wife enjoyed. Wine was also fantastic, probably one of the best french meals I've ever had."

"Authentic french experience....so nice to see that the chef was actually french! Food quality was excellent, serving size was perfect (so happy not to get american food sizing, and be able to finish my meal!).

We enjoyed our dinner very much, especially the fact we were not rushed, and got a kir at the end :)

The only room for improvement would be wait staff... might just need a bit more training/polishing,"

"Ruined our Easter celebration - host was cold, rude and rushed us from the minute we sat down. Service was terrible, once they served us food in minutes they never again attended to us, constantly had to flag them down (restaurant was not full though they seemed to be trying to process us as quickly as possible - there was only 1 seating then they were empty!) Asked for scrambled eggs got an omelette, food was bland, small + lukewarm. Then when we ordered 2 desserts which we hoped would save the day but of course was again a disappointment, they charged us for 4 (hoping we wouldn't check bill). No apologies, no concern how we were, they could care less..."

"We had a group of five at the Hyde St. Bistro for brunch. Food was at best okay. Omelettes were a bit dry, the croque monsieur was small with a few leaves for a salad, and the burgers were also dry and contained at most 1/5 pound of meat. Server was impatient. Would not recommend, at least for brunch. They also added a tip for a party of five (never seen that before); glad I noticed that!"

"It was our first visit to Hyde Street Bistro and my wife and I had a very enjoyable time. We offered a table in the front window area which is very secluded and screened off and it provided for a very private setting away from the rest of the restaurant.

We found the food to be very good to excellent and in fact my wife had the French Onion soup and she commented that it was the best she ever had tasted! The service was just right in terms of the level of attention provided. We definitely will return in the future."
