  • "Enjoyed choice in the menu and the sharing plates. Our group is goes to the Roy Thomson Hall after dining, so it was good NOT to eat a heavy meal."

  • "Everything from service to food was excellent! I had a great experience from start to end!!!"

  • "Our server was nice enough but service was just bad. He messed up my steak and brought a strip loin instead of filet. Even though he comped our second round of drinks I just didn't feel like he was sorry at all. The restaurant was empty I just don't understand how our order was messed up! Food was good, not great. I ended up sending the strip loin back for what I originally ordered. He apologised at the end but it didn't feel sincere. Needless to say, we won't be running back there anytime soon."

  • "I had a wonderful expereince at HUSH. I was there celebrating a bachelorette with a group of 6 girls who all have varying food tastes. We had fast, fantastic service and all of our meals were delicious. I highly recommend the smores! What a great treat to share with the group. I will recommend and I look forward to my next visit."

  • "My husband and I drove from London, ON into Toronto to meet friends for dinner. Sadly, our friends blew us off for the evening. On the other hand, our server was charming and funny and the food was plentiful and delicious. We enjoyed everything we ordered (spring rolls, lobster grilled cheese and the linguine with asiago & arugula). The Bloodhound cocktail was refreshing. We enjoyed it all."

  • "Good food, good service, great atmoshpere and very reasonable prices. Definitely a great spot in a fantastic location!"

  • "Upon first glance I was excited to dine here. Great ambiance and a cool bar. The food was nothing short of terrible. My partner and I both had chicken based meals-both horribly over cooked, the sauces in them tasted as though they simply opened a jar from the grocery store and poured it over it, small portions, and overpriced. If you don't mind throwing away your money to sit in a trendy place this is the restaurant for you. Wasn't a fan of spending $100+ on a dinner for two to have to stop and grab a snack on the way home elsewhere."

  • "As a theatre goer we my wife and I frequent the entertainment district regularly. We were looking for something new and liked the menu at Hush. The fresh ingredients and delicious creations where a nice change from the usual. The service was stellar, she was the nicest, honestly friendly server. Great start to a fantastic night out."

  • "Good staff, good drinks. Most were happy with menu items. Two of us had the Morrocan chicken, which was overcooked and dry."
    Dined on 3/15/2014
  • "They don't need a menu guy on the sidewalk to pull people in because: the food is really good for the money, the service is friendly and attentive, and the place is comfortable and clean. Across the street from TIFF theater, and steps from the best show in town, Second City's "Sixteen Scandals.""

  • "I was surprised at the quality of food for the reasonable price. Cocktails were amazing, and the ambiance was great. Reservations for larger groups (6 plus) is always a challenge, but this restaurant accommodated us easily and with short notice. Had a great time!"

  • "Restaurant mostly empty at 4:30 although other people were starting to come in as we left. The Asian-inspired nachos were a hit as were the prime rib dinners."
    Dined on 3/1/2014
  • "Ate here and enjoyed the food, the restaurant is a bit dark and the wait staff although attentive and capable not very engaged with the customer. Food was great no complaints and would return once we explored other restaurants on the same street."

  • "Ambience was nice, food was terrible, very bland. We each ordered different meals and we each had to order bbq sauce on the side to add some type of flavour to our meals. Waiter was very pleasant."

  • "Finally got to try the Campfire S'Mores dessert. Totally worth it. The snow was coming down outside, but we were warm and toasty, roasting marshmallows over a mini campfire. Service is a touch slow, which was a bit off-putting considering the restaurant was nearly empty. However, our waitress was very friendly, helpful, and the food was quite delicious and worth the price."

  • "I like Hush and think the food and the value are very good. However we didn't get what we ordered, we were offered an extra to make up for it and then we were charged for the extra anyways after waiting a long time for the bill."

  • "Went for the winterlicious 3-course dinner. The main was lovely--fresh pasta and great flavours, spiced pecans on the ravioli providing an edge into really nice--the appetizers were fine but a bit boring, they ran out of my first choice for dessert and the others were lackustre. Really nice vegetarian ravioli though."

  • "This is probably my favorite restaurant in Toronto! They have a wide variety of food available. Great lighting and desserts are FUN! We had a little campfire with marshmallows to roast during our last visit."

  • "My husband and I went to Hush restaurant after reading many positive reviews. This restaurant definitely lives up to those reviews. The food was fantastic, with large portions and fast service. We were licking our fingers by the end! Our server was great, very attentive and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and would definitely return to Hush restaurant."

  • "A group of six had a wonderful Winterlicious dinner. The 3 choices for appetizer, entree and dessert were varied. The cream of vegetable soup was tasty. We tried each of the three entrees, all were delicious, squash ravioli, parmesan crusted chicken and the large tender short ribs. The cappuccino was very good as well. Service was well timed and friendly. Would return anytime and would recommend this restaurant to friends."

  • "Recently visited Hush for a Friday evening winterlicious date with some friends. Our reservation was for 5:15, however we arrived 20 minutes early. They were kind enough to seat us when we arrived. We asked or a booth, however was told they could not accommodate us there as there was another party arriving. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food: the salad and brushetta were very tasteful, the butternut squash ravioli was very flavourful and the gelato was nice to end with. I noticed that as we were leaving the restaurant, no one was sitting in the booth we had requested the entire time we were there."

  • "Went for winterlicious this week - made a reso in advance and had a lovely table saved for us in the back section. It's a little quieter back there with the exception of the rowdy group sitting at the larger table back there. Food was delicious and service was great - the only issue I had was that we weren't even done with our appetizers when the main came out - were they trying to rush us out? Will probably check this place out again."

  • "We picked Hush for Winterlicious this year because of its creative fusion menu (e.g.: baja lobster taco, mung thai nachos) so we were a bit disappointed with the selection on the Winterlicious menu (chicken, pasta or short rib). I ordered the mushroom bruschetta (flavourful but chewy), the short rib (good but not outstanding) and finished it off with a brownie (everything you would expect from a brownie). Our waiter was friendly but we could tell he was in a rush to get us fed and out of the restaurant "before the next seating at 8:15". All in all, I am glad we tried Hush during Winterlicious as I'm not certain we'd pay full price for what it was. On the wine list, a good selection overall. Priced at $40 & up. The atmosphere was lively."

  • "Great location for a pre theatre dinner. Would like to try Hush when the winterlicious rush is done Food was a bit predictable but our party of foodies think it is worth a second try"

  • "We went there with friends for winterlicious. We all got different dishes and were all happy by the size of the portions as usually winterlicious' portions can be quite small. The food was good and we all really liked the dished we ordered. Our waitress was very nice as well and was able to recommed some wine according to what my preferences are. Overall, we didn't know about this place before and didn't know what to expect. We were all happy about our experience there and would definitely come back. Can't wait to try their patio in the summer!"

  • "My husband and I went on a Sunday for lunch during winterlicious. I have been before, and my lunch was much more enjoyable the first time. I had edamamme to start, which was good. My husband had the broccoli cauliflower soup. The soup was what it was, nothing exciting or special. Not that flavourful. We both had chicken avocado wraps. They were mostly comprised of lettuce, again, not much flavour. We both had the salted caramel brownie with pumpkin. The brownie was nice and fudgey, but again.. it was just ok. Service was good and prompt (we had just missed the theatre crowd). I see winterlicious as an opportunity to wow your diners and make them return customers, not a chance to make a few bucks. Based on this visit, we will not go back."

  • "My partner and I booked this whilst visiting Toronto and was not disappointed. The food was good, staff were friendly and our overall experience was very good. I had the full rack of ribs which were very tasty and a challenge for the man vs food! The next time we visit, I will however ask the server to add at least 15 minutes between each course as we found that as soon as we finished our starter, our main turned up, a bit too quickly for our liking. This was noticed with other tables also. We will return!"

  • "relatively priced, nice athmosphere, excellent service. Good for a date night out or just hanging out with friends. Close to TIff Bell Box. Convenient :)"

  • "I was really looking forward to eating here, but I don't think the food was worth what we paid for it. It wasn't bad, just very expensive for what it was. The service wasn't great. We sat with empty glasses and silverware on the plates, indicating we were done, for about 10 minutes. The server seemed a bit overwhelmed even though he didn't have too many tables. I'd be willing to try it again, but in the summer when I could check out the rooftop patio."

  • "Came here with some friends before seeing Les Miserables across the street. Our orders came quickly and lots of variety on the menu. Delicious food. Service was poor though, the waiter didn't re-fill our water once or check on how we were."
